Basically, I was chilling out drawing and my cousin comes up to me and asks me for a game recommendation on roblox. 5 minutes ago he was playing this game called ‘Build your own Coaster’ that’s designed for 3 year olds. He asks me for a game to play. I point him to bad business, he gets bored. I send him to Combat Warriors, he gets bored. Finally I send him to Arcane Odyssey and I’m expecting him to quit when he talks to Morden but he ended up enjoying AO. He read like 30% of the dialogues (it was a lot of words) and got stuck under the Redwake docks but he still had fun. I was ecstatic he was playing the game I had hundreds of hours on and not getting bored. He kept swearing it was the coolest game ever. After he finished playing he told me that he’ll keep playing even when I’m not there to guide him. I held his hand through a lot of it, but he’s only 9 so I think it’s fine. I’m honestly really surprised he liked it so much. Honestly got me more excited for full release knowing kids could grasp this with a tutorial.
Most wholesome thing I’ve actually read this month, I’m genuinely so joyed by the fact that a 9 year old really appreciates a game like this. Most people often just disregard quality games like AO for slop but this is really cool of him, you have the best cousin.
explosion conj is actually a pretty decent choice imo. sure, there are probably better magics with high size for conj, but explosion makes the sunken sword have the steam imbue so that’s a plus
