I thought I was a bigshot when I reached level 90 with full enchanted iron armor
i got one shotted when a lightning mage hit a tree a mile away

I didn’t even know that WoM and AO were made by the same guy when AO first released
i had a shitty machine to play on but wom was pretty laggy at the time. i remember me and some bloke fighting on silent tower. The guy used a 20 blast spell but it was so horrifically laggy that the blasts were moving at snail pace and he was taking ages to complete the spell. I pretty much moved/jumped over this blasts like i was fucking neo from the matrix and when i got to him, i used a double magma self explosion on him.

I didn’t particulary enjoy it much not gonna lie
I did find it interesting but back then I was kinda just bored and didn’t know what to do in the game so I kinda just stopped playing, I thought the combat system was a bit lacking atleast on the smaller levels
I revisited it later out of curiousity because I wanted to try getting a high level magic for the funsies but then found out how SLOW it is to do so I kinda just gave up
I will personally never understand people that will unironically think this is way better than arcane odyssey but I am guessing that they’re blinded by nostalgia
