brownies. use this recipe of mine (it’s like a 7/10 difficulty, be VERY careful not to burn anything)

makes 12 large brownies (like 20 small ones)
prep time: ~15 mins
cook: 25 mins, 190 degrees celsius (375 degrees fahrenheit)

ingredients:
200g butter
400g sugar
100g cocoa powder
4 beaten eggs
pinch of salt
1 tsp vanilla essence
200g full fat cream cheese
100g SELF RAISING flour
50g dark chocolate
50g milk chocolate (you can alternatively do 25/75)
icing sugar

  1. line roasting tin with baking parchment (trust)

  2. put butter, sugar and cocoa into saucepan and melt together (be careful here)

  3. remove from heat as soon as it’s done and add salt, eggs, vanilla essence and cream cheese. beat together. add flour and chopped chocolate after

  4. put in tin and bake for 25 mins (test it with a toothpick, if it sticks to the toothpick when you stab do 5 more mins)

  5. cool in the tin and remove, then dust with icing sugar and cut into squares of your size choosing
