Basically I’m suggesting, make it so after dying to a player who hunted or assassinated you, it’ll temporarily turn off your PvP, for like 5 or 10 minutes or so, if you got sent to prison, during that time you won’t have PvP on, and the timer won’t start until youre executed or saved

Reasoning : I feel like this would fix a lot of problems, like killing people over and over again wouldn’t be as possible if their PvP is turned off for a bit after they died the first time

I also think this would solve, people who get killed by you, coming back over and over to try to kill you, since their PvP would be turned off for a bit

thirdly, this would mean you couldn’t get re-hunted at your execution, and killed again with the only thing you can really do against this just being leaving the game before they can

This is pretty basic, but I just think this would fix a couple things, I shouldn’t have to expect to be spawn camped, or attacked again by the person I just killed just because I have PvP o

Can’t you just turn off PvP or switch servers? Also, if you turned off PvP automatically it would prevent revenge hunting.

I think having to force player to ‘switch server’ is bad game design, since it ruins general immersion about the game.

And turning pvp off can only be done by players who have lower than 250000 fame/bountys.

Hunting same player again and again is just stupid, even more if the situation is making it easier to do it.

Yeah, a good idea, but it needs two more features to it. The bounty hunter himself should be given the combat tag for the entire duration of your disabled PvP, and you should be able to attack them whenever, but it’ll enable PvP back. This is to prevent people from bounty hunting you and leaving immediately, while you are unable to attack them. The victim should always have a revenge opportunity.

But then that just means people will just attack you over and over, which is one of the problems I’m trying to address, heros keep respawning, attacking me again, and again, and so on, not to mention if you kill a guy with a long prison sentence, you just can’t leave for like 15-20 minute

That’s the problem, I shouldn’t HAVE to expect to be spawn camped or targeted just because I have PvP, I don’t think those things should be normalized, I simply wanna fight other people, not fight the same person over and over

Huh? No, YOU decide to turn off the PvP shield by attacking the other guy who killed you before, they can’t do the same. Don’t want a rematch? You got those 5 or 10 minutes to flee

No I mean, the guy who got killed, might just come back a bunch of times attacking you over and over which is annoying to deal with, which also means teamers, their teammates will just respawn and come back and continue fighting with nothing you can do

Well, yes, he should have that option. You decided it’d be a good idea to jump him, so it is now your problem that he is spiteful

Also teamers, their friends would respawn and comeback, mainly that, since usually when I kill people, I try to be as nice as possible afterwards to prevent them from coming back

Also fair. You were the initial attacker, you interfered into their pve game, where they weren’t bothering anybody. They’re allowed to retaliate in whichever way they see fit.

If you bounty hunt somebody, you should completely be at their mercy

Alright, what about this compromise, after 2 minutes 30 seconds, they CAN attack which will end their PvP off time, this timer will also only start after prison sentence if they have one, but the hunter doesn’t have PvP on for that duration

Actually that wouldn’t even work, since then likely teamers would come back, and that’s not even that long so you’ll just get targeted still

No no, 2 mins 30 seconds, they’ll still have PvP off, but now they’ll have the option to turn it off for the rest of the duration of their PvP off time, actually maybe make this an option in the settings that only appears during the pvp off time from getting killed, and maybe you’ll get a notification that you can turn it back on in settings when you can
