Hey there!

I’m TheTenorMan1942, and to be frank, I’m not that new here.

I’ve been lurking here without an account for around half a year, and now here I am.

Some things about me? Well, I love music, especially jazz (I play four instruments). I have a lot of things I’m sorta good at, and I don’t necessarily like all of those things.

Also, I still haven’t been initiated on my first post, ( Full Release Update Patch Notes (Discussion Thread) (Part 3) - #3257 by TheTenorMan1942 ) so uhh…

And I’m assuming your pfp is that of a man playing a tenor saxophone, which is also probably the origin of your username & one of the four instruments you play.

Ey, was wondering how many musicians were here. Tenor sax is my favorite instrument, but the one I’ve been playing for the least time (The other three are piano, trumpet, and clarinet). I’m also hoping to try bari sax soon!

Not sure… it might be Horace Silver’s live album, “Doin’ the Thing”, which includes one of my current favorite songs, “Filthy McNasty.”

Illinois Jacquet’s “Bottoms Up” is good too.
