So far everything vetex has said about what to make WoM of in the TGR update sounds all too familiar. With all these islands, ships, static npcs and a straight-line story, It just feels like vetex is actually just continuing where Arcane Adventures left off instead of making a brand new, different-flavored magic open-world game that is incredibly unique-yet familiar as the 3rd game in the franchise as Arcane Adventures’ sequel.

From the start, we already established and were promised of a new “breath of fresh air” as we were looking for something new and interesting long after AA’s ‘passing’. Sure, it did feel like something was missing knowing the fact that Arcane Adventures was never finished.
However, I and many other people already made ourselves comfortable knowing the fact that “the Sequel of Arcane Adventures takes place on a continent”. A complete re-write the size of TGR makes us uncertain and re-evaluate the game’s past,present and future.
Yes I agree. It would honestly just be better if we could merge both wom and aa. Maybe have islands and Magius. idk, im just a careless retard anyway.

Assuming you mean keep the entire continent and then add some islands, the sheer size of it all as well as how daunting it would be to build will be way too much. The best way to go about this and what Vetex hopefully does is to make big islands we can easily explore for at least an hour before moving on.

brilliant, exactly what he should do
perhaps with notable features such as; Maybe this is a trading town, lots of vendors. Maybe they are large and have lots of quests. Maybe they are just for the lore. etc
he might make the story grander. You guys know God of War 4 right? It has a main story and then a bunch of side storylines. He might make it like that but once you complete the main story you’re free to wander, find things etc

World of magic didn’t even feel like and Arcane sequal. My friend(which loved playing arcane) didn’t even recognize the game
