Thanks vetex, cant spawn ships in the dark sea!

why vetex, my friend lagged and now we are fucked

22 sealeds lost, thank you

We’re on the same boat (the same thing happened to me and a friend, but because the brig owner died and we couldn’t find because you can’t see party markers in the Dark Sea)

That really sucks man… Not only is this shit ruining Dark Sea but apparently gankers are finding ways to easily track you in Insanity 1 layers. My friend’s expedition was ambushed by a guy and they got killed, same dude found me like 10 mins later coming through Range 2 with 2 hours worth of sealed and almost sunk my ship. He had NOTHING on board, he was doing it just to ruin people’s runs not for sealed

nah bro whoever pvp’s in darksea should wear drawback 5 irl

fr man i think gankers are using visual glitches when entering dark sea to track player boats, maybe there is a new exploit to clear effects as well

damn that sucks

The exploit is more so the render distance, sometimes you can clearly see the dark sea and its structures at range 1 (at the bronze sea)

could be a server thing, could be on purpose but the dark sea border comes back up when exiting so im confounded at best, ill double check when im free

and if im right with this, some jackasses are circling around the bronze sea nonstop instead of grinding for themselves :fr:

also i mean, its inevitable
although its like a very rare chance, its never zero

claim your goods as fast as you can, if really picky, never attack the npcs in the dark sea as they give renown, only do dark sea structures then do step 1

that i can at least kind of understand

what i don’t get is not being allowed to craft healing potions while in the dark sea. imo there just doesnt exist a strong enough justification for that

Wym you can’t craft healing potion?, i’ve made 4 healing cauldron in there

ok well i have no fucking clue why its not working for me then

Probably the brig was not yours? I tried to cook on others brig once, didn’t work

oh.

I can see the logic behind it.
I imagine Vetex doesn’t want us using one ship to coast along in a party throughout the Dark Sea, and if we ever lose that ship to have the ability to just summon a full HP one to transfer our loot to. In other words, we’re meant to go into the Dark Sea as a convoy, and not as a party where we can have up to (whatever the party cap is) backup brigs.

We go in at once, we take damage at once, we all have to survive.

All I can say as a recommendation, don’t use the Ravenna/Fort Talos side, go to Shell Island and leave from there. Should be cleaner than going that side anyways, less ghost NPCs floating around, and less White Eyes that decided to linger.

Maybe he can make it so you can only spawn the brig once in the dark sea and if your other brig sunk, half of the dark sealed chest despawn

Nah, it’d be better if we could force open the Dark Sealed Chests for a 66% chance (I’m being generous) to destroy the loot inside or something. Helps for when we’re going solo and have 2-3 sealed chests on some tall mountain too, and it would let players salvage this situation somewhat.

To further add to what I suggested, it should also tell you what was destroyed.

This really sucks even though I understand

I would be fine with this logic if…
Player ships dont disappear the moment they die/log off
That way the party can carry on with the ship
