What if we make them as enchantment scrolls only so you either get more stats or get unique effects as scrolls. So there is main stats(items), sub-stats(scrolls), minor stats(gems). Sounds nice imo
…it already does tho? thats kind of its main feature but everyone went (justifiably at first due to being overtuned) crazy over the damage against defense rather than the damage against blocking
anyway i dont think the suggestion is bad or anything but you should probably get used to more specific variants of existing stats being added cuz therell be more over time
and while i dont think its necessarilly op with the current 3 new stats, getting the effects of those stats without any real involvement or drawback for the player (getting them for free from jewels instead of actually sacrificing item stats) isnt really the best idea
Honestly, I kinda agree with this, as it just feels so cluttered now. We had the six in the start, power and defense were main whilst the rest were more secondary. then we got insanity, warding and drawback, none of which actually greatly affect the gameplay (except if you have really high drawback then you just bleed out). But then 3 more stats?
Alternatively I’d say maybe putting resistance and regeneration under defense effects, like how intensity has a ton of them, and armor piercing under power, but I’m not sure.
