The 8values Test

So you might be asking: Switchbladeadrenaline, what is this goofy ahh 8values test that you are talking about?

I’ll put it very simply: It is a 70 question test on your personal values that determines your political view point.

WAIT!!! WAIT!!! WAIT!!!

DON’T JUST CLOSE THIS TOPIC YET JUST BECAUSE I SAID THE WORD “POLITICS”!

I really, really want to know how each forumers views politics and their beliefs. I’ve done the same things with my classmates, and even though many of us had staunchly different political views, we’re still friends and respect political opinions. And I believe I can do that with the forums too.

The 8values test is a test that determines the four political axis. They are:

  • Economic: How a nation should run its economy.
  • Diplomatic: How a nation should manage its foreign affairs.
  • Civil: How a much civil liberties should a nation give to its citizens.
  • Society: Whether or not a country to progress or maintain its traditional values.

This 70 question quiz should not take that long. No more than 8-10 minutes at most. Please answer them truthfully.

After you have done the test, it should look something like this:

(Heh funny thing is I’m not theocratic. I strongly believe in secularism. It probably gave me this because I adhere to strong traditional values. Also, I’ve done this test numerous times and the results can vary slightly, but it is always similar for me.)

Once you’ve done the test, please share a screenshot of your results in here! (:D)

What I’m trying to say is: Regardless of your nation, whether you like it or not, politics plays a very important role in our lives and how we live it. Politics is a very complex thing, and cannot simply be simplified and organized into “left-wing” or “right-wing” politics.

( Test is here: 8values Please answer honestly )

Personally, I respect people regardless of their political opinions. After all, most of us live in a free world.

In case you are wondering, the “axis” are measured on a scale. They are:

  • Economic: Laissez-Faire, Capitalist, Market, Centrist, Social, Socialist, Communist

  • Diplomacy: Chauvinist, Nationalist, Patriotic, Balanced, Peaceful, Internationalist, Cosmopolitan

  • Government: Totalitarian, Authoritarian, Statist, Moderate, Liberal, Libertarian, Anarchist

  • Society: Reactionary, Very Traditional, Traditional, Neutral, Progressive, Very Progressive, Revolutionary

On my example, I’m economically social, patriotic (I mean I do love Australia), Statist (not outright dictatorship) and traditional (but I’m fine with change and progressive values, though traditional values still hold a place in my heart).

Also, please, please, PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD DO NOT post your specific responses to the questions in the survey. Because that’s the thing that usually starts wars. (also if your paired ideology is Nazism, please don’t send it.)

nice try FBI

i’ll be real m8 i choose neutral for most of them cause i dont even understand the questions :skull:

also you can very easily manipulate the results lol

I’m you but better

okay mr.worldwide

Sometimes I may get “Very Traditional” instead of just “Traditional”. And usually sway between the two.

That’s just me though. And it goes to show that political views can change.

I don’t even know what centrist means.

This is so real

A centrist is basically someone that doesn’t really believe in the policies of either sides of the political spectrum. They are often neutral and often strike a balance between the two, hence why they are called “centrists”.

That’s… definitely not me

I mean I always stand with my country, it all depends on my ethnicity, though.

Also EVERYONE must be treated equally and I do not believe in social hierarchy!

Mate…

I did say not to say your specific responses as it is usually the things that starts wars.

But I do agree. (What’s your ethnicity? You don’t have to answer if you don’t want to)

Apologies :disappointed:

anyways, ill just put the flags here because its simpler
