so everyone and their mother knows that fleets are genuinely a disaster on the economy
the poor can now rise up and become rich people without having to bargain with people who wouldn’t of traded either way
the rich can now become even richer
so the question is now “how far can the auction prices get jacked up as a result LOL?”

how on earth are people getting these numbers.
I do the same thing and I get barely a 10th of that and it costs me more to keep my fleet running that the trading task gives me.
check trello, they are “heavily nerfing the drachma gain from the trading task”
As for the scrolls, I think it’s a good thing. T2 enchants take an extremely long time to get, and this helps remedy it.
I hope it’s capped at 24k at max fleet after repair costs are considered with 2 working on trading.

Man good thing I already earned back all the money I lost from setting up my fleet alongside new deckhands and maxing professions, and plenty more.

it makes items more accesible to new players
People criticize vetex for a lot of things but like, were a third of the way through the game, these items are not and should not be the end all be all of the economy. Imagine buying a ship of the line with empires level galleon farming, it would be fucking absurd. Same thing goes for t3 enchants and spell scrolls. It would be dumb to keep these mid game items valuable forever
