Okay, so—I’ll start this off giving Argos the proper respect he deserves. Because he does manage to get out of bed at age 80, and I think that is worth acknowledging.
However, I think it is fallacious to say he has the greatest potential of a non-magic user of Ravenna’s army. Nor is the next boss, Carina. Who is, if anything, much weaker than Argos. Honestly she’s probably weaker than Iris by Nimbus sea. No, who I refer to as the greatest warrior in Ravenna is the one and only Dame Caesennia.

Now, as stated prior, Caesennia spars the player with 1.8k HP, compared to Argos’s 3k. Neither of them die after dropping to 0, however, Argos is rendered in a state where he is incapable of further combat or even dodging afterwards. Caesennia, by contrast, is ready to go again immediately afterwards.
Or she was, prior to THAT ONE QUEST UPDATE.
Nevertheless, she shows no injuries or signs of exhaustion despite losing 1.8k HP.
