The halberd is much bigger than the greataxe + i’m pretty sure vetex or someone else confirmed the shaft is made of bronze so that’d contribute to the weight as well. Plus if the greataxe was just as heavy wouldn’t it require strength too?
I’m assuming it’s mostly the execution of skills where strength comes into play rather than swinging it with m1s, You could probably move a decently heavy thing around but performing tricks with it requires you to be much more stronger.

You’re memory is deceiving you because the halberd has a much bigger shaft (and blade if im correct)
yuh but why do you need strength for the halberd skills if it wasn’t much heavier. Those skills require the technique which would be much harder to do if you weren’t ripped

ehhhh vindicator is just a worse ravenna greataxe let’s be for real—swift ravenna greataxe is basically the same thing as vindicator and it has more aoe and damage

i mean vindicator is more focused on speed which is different but ig the greataxe does outperform it a bit
deadass i can’t notice a difference between 1 speed and 1.1, i think there’s a little bit less startup but aside from that they’re identical to me
probably cuz stuff like raging impact and devastate are naturally slow so speed doesn’t scale as well

i had an idea where we (somehow) could fight general argos when he was in his prime as a side boss at some point, not sure how lore accurate thatd be (i know vetex cares a lot about his lore) but i want it i want it iwant it
