i know this isn’t really for this category but i don’t have any other way of posting this, as far as i’ve seen im the only one that posted their art submission for the contest on Twitter/X, as a response to the post about the contest, I’m legit just worried it won’t be seen or included at all.
I am unsure if they count anything outside of Art.
The first art-contest had either Art OR replying with a tag, it’s super strange they haven’t given out much information about participation.
well i’ve contacted a mod before i even posted my submission, and they said that either twitter, forum or a hashtag, but so far i haven’t seen anyone else post on Twitter, and I have no way of verifying myself as an artist, as I will not be doing 3 arts last minute, even if i were to verify here, you cant even post arts for verification in arts, so how the hell does that work
It appears some others are too utilizing the twitter tag, though it’s you and two others, that’s not really assuring, and I don’t believe they are too active when accepting art group applications on forums (I’ve sent an application days ago, not even a single person has read it.)
Do you have previous arts of AO? if so, then that works fine iirc.
well thank you for sending that ss, because i can’t see the others. though the only previous art I have is of the ships of my AO guild/clan, i don’t have anything else to even post as an artist verification, even if i could even post there, because guess what - I CAN’T even send pictures in the verification.
Said art is related to the Arcane Universe, and hence technically would be okay, I don’t believe there’s a age-limit on how old an art can be, it just has to be within the guidelines.
Yeah… the verification is downright awful, either you have to make off-topic art posts like I’ve done, or create the verification post and then attach the three images.
Seriously, it’s been 4 days and not even a view, getting a bit silly.

though now looking at my twitter post, i see there have been 23 views, so there might be a slight chance it was seen by the ones hosting the contest.

First the rewards are extremely mid or worse, then they don’t give nearly any information at all on how to participate… Do they actually hate fanart?

the rewards are quite good, looking at the economy of the game, though not providing any info about entry? that’s something else.

Eh… the rewards are quite… mid.
For the three winners, they’ll get around about 90-100k from the legendary chest - can be easily gotten from fleets over a relatively short duration, and… mythical chests, from which I can only guess are from mythical treasure charts, so gilded gear and banner/thumbnails.
The rest get… “recognition” and 3-5 mythical chests.
Everything you can get from the contest you can get faster playing the game, kind of silly.
Wouldn’t be surprised if it was a mistake and they actually meant mystical. Bright idea, creating mythical charts and renaming exotic ones to mystical.
