A figure looked around, standing still in what seemed to be a destroyed library... They sighed, about to leave before spotting a small chest, unlocked, infront of them. They lifted its cover, a pile of about three book there, colorful despite some damages it had taken, but well preserved
They picked up the first one, wiping the dust off its cover and reading its title... "The Art Of Magic ---- " the rest seemed to have been scrapped off, barely readable.
They smiled, opening the book to explore its content... laying their eyes on the first page
Tome 1 - The Basic
AURA
Description:
Also called “Weapon Aura”, but most people call it Aura despite the existence of Fighting Aura, overshadowing it and sometimes creating confusions.
Weapon Aura is the art of a weapon user extending their energy onto the weapons they’re using, bringing it up to their levels and feats, allowing the weapon to not be broken while moving at mach speed or clashing agains’t boulders and such extreme conditions, it extends the user will and “mind” to the weapon in their hand, as it’s empty anyways.
It relies on the usage of disciplines and teachings to grow, which essentially means that most of the limits on the usage of only a limited amount of weapons is merely restrictions put on one self intentionally, “mental blocks”, but breaking these mental blocks and ignoring your teachings isn’t the way to go about being a warrior.
You’re essentially just proving you’re too weak to follow your own rules, hence it just becomes a representation of your weakness and loss of strength.
Power is nothing without discipline and knowing how to use it, if you can’t follow these rules, your weapon aura might as well be considered garbage.
All thought it doesn’t mean you can’t break those blocks without reason, as long as you have the necessary training and mentality for it, you might be able to create something new.
Weapon Aura, is therefore different from other form of magics due to how it relies on human knowledge and cooperation to grow, utilizing teachings. Weapon Aura may grow in amount by training or simply talent, but its power and refinement wont change without any disclipine and teachings.
Your W.A amount can refer to size, gaining more magic may make the size of your attacks significantly advanced but without condensing and utilizing it, it won’t be any more effective in terms of power.
This aspect of Weapon Aura is shown when two of its users fight, as the one with higher refinement will win agains’t the one with much lower refinement, despite the difference in Weapon Aura amount.
That was the important information the person remembered as they read this, simply skipping over things they judged unnecessary, like historical events. He was done reading the first part of the research.
They dropped the book back into the chest, picking up what seemed to be the 2nd part of the book... Opening it
It was titled Tome 2 - ........ the rest was unreadable, likely due to damage
Why can’t they use Arcanium Weapons?
Warriors and other Weapon Aura users with no magic can use arcanium weapons, but end up being pretty ineffective or perform worse than a conjurer.
A Warrior using an arcanium weapon out of nowhere with no specific training and research would be performing worse than a Conjurer or simply even another Warrior using a regular weapon. Their Aura is incapable of properly exherting its influence on the weapon since its already housed by an individual’s magic inhabiting it, acting as a form of lingering “mind” and “personnality traits”, ontop of arcanium being more of a conduit to “magic” or its pollution.
As such, it conflicts with the aura of the warrior and reacts negatively, leading to issues overtime as they may or not damage the magic imbuement and reduce the weapon into a regular blade, or be diluting the traits of the magic with the weapon aura, hence weakening its effects.
There are answers to this, such as maintaining the weapon with special treatments depending on its type and the magic imbued, but most of these treatments involve magic polluted sea salt and great experience in blacksmithing.
This problem is non existent with unimbued arcanium weapons, but why bother using an arcanium weapon with no magic in it rather than any other regular weapon with a metal of similar durability.
TLDR:
They don’t use magic circles, there’s nothing to imbue there. If imbuement is like adding dye to water, then warrior imbuement to arcanium is like adding a colorless dye to water.
This part obviously excludes Conjurers, as they're basically dedicated to using arcanium weapons, the figure told themselves, closing the book, he read to himself the important information solely. Now dropping it to the ground, he searched through the chest.... pulling out what seemed to be the 3rd book.
Its title was barely readable, but a "3" could be visible on it.
Legendary Weapons:
Legendary Weapons however, go around the previous problem by the sheer power they hold, along the fact that they’re already generally known or “rumored”, meaning that the Weapon User is more of “subjugating” themselves to the blade than trying to “dominate” it like any other normal weapon.
Projectile Aura:
Ranged weapons and guns particularly are a very special aspect of Weapon Aura, as guns dont abide by the usual rules and teachings associated to Weapon Aura.
Weapon Aura usually reinforces the weapon durability and power, a weapon that you normally hit the enemy directly with, but here with gun’s, you’re not meant to hit someone with it or stab them, you’re shooting out an entirely different projectile.
W.A in Ranged Weapons (Gun’s) function by relying entirely on the amount, it follows a very different mindset than convention W.A, treating it as a “Mere ressource that I can always replace”, using a gun and other ranged weapons may decrease the refinement of one when using normal weapon. But provides its user with more freedom in changing weaponry and style of fighting, eliminating certain issues like “Over attachment” of Weapon Aura
Advantages:
- Advantage agains’t Magic users such as Mages
- Weapon Aura users are more efficient when it comes to hiding their presence and strength, as their power often is concealed / focused into their weapons rather than their body
- W.A since it relies on weapon, has a wide variety of appliances and style of combat.
- W.A users can easily be underestimated by those who only go off their W.A amount, allowing those W.A users to take their enemies by surprise.
- “If you believe you can cut something, then you may. If you know you only want to cut something, then you’ll only cut that thing”
Weakness:
- Starting with large amount of W.A doesn’t necessarily increase your power, but may even decrease it.
- W.A usage relies on teachings and discipline
- Sometimes, Warriors W.A (Weapon Aura) may imprint or attach to a weapon too much, if that weapon is broken, their Weapon Aura has risks of receiving damages to it, this means that the Warrior will be weakened for a good amount of time, and perform less well when attempting to use other weapons.
- W.A is less effective agains’t Fighting Aura.
- Legendary Weapons all thought not sentient still possess faint personnality traits and those generally include “Prideful”, meaning they may simply not cooperate with the wielder of the blade at all.
- Legendary Weapons may overun somebody with the personnality traits imprinted on them, but it has never went as far as corrupting them.
- W.A users may perform less well if they’re stripped of their usual weapons
- “If you believe you can’t cut something, then you wont. If you dont know what you only want to cut, then you’ll cut more than that thing”
A voice suddendly shouted
-“YUGO!”
Felix loudly exclamed, walking into the ruins of the library.
-“Are you done dumpster diving for whatever worthless shit you’re meant to find?”
The figure just sighed, closing the books and dropping it back into the chest.
He picked up the other one, placing it into the chest too, before finally replying to Felix.
-“I’ll be coming, just go back to the ship.”
Felix clicked her tongue and rolled her eyes, walking away.
Yugo picked up the chest, even if he hadn't originally came here for these books, they could prove useful later on.
And so, he took them away.

Note: Artisans weapons aren’t mentionned because well, there’s no information on them on the trello or anywhere
I accept any critics targetted at the system, along suggestion.
Im planning to post one for Fighting Aura & Magic too later on
