The Battle of the Seawise

Today the Vanaham Pirates as they go by were met with cannon fire by the Grand Navy on the pursuit of their fleet, the battle started via a Grand Navy Ketch and a Vanaham Ketch escalated into a much more bigger battle eventually involving the Grand Navy Vice Admiral Gerand and his Ship of the Line Grand Thunder, and also involving the Rear Admiral Pirate Jokasher, and his Ship of the Line Bastion of Eric. Although this battle has gotten more sinister as the Grand Navy ships retreat, they were ambushed by something big… long… and has many… tentacles…

Throughout the battle as viewed from one survivor who is Scout Ivor, joined the Grand Navy as of 3 months ago, he was on the notorious Vice Admiral Gerand’s ship, and survived from the rescue rowboats on board. He stated, “The cannons balls those men fired at us were burning hot! Super-hot, it was hot enough to melt through our own cannons! I believe I heard the Vanaham Pirates, long ago reading the Agora news as a little kid, however I didn’t expect them to be this powerful. I never thought I’d see a pirate take out our own Vice Admiral… I saw him in his Captain Quarters burning…”

*The battle was a ferocious one and ended up with 532 Casualties on the Grand Navy side with 5 ships sunk, and 134 Casualties on the Vanaham Pirate’s side, with 3 ships sunk. Around 225 of the Grand Navy Casualties were caused by the unexpected Kraken encounter which sunk the Mighty Sea, a ship of the line belonging to Rear Admiral Jane. Many men are also said to believe be missing with an estimated amount of 200 missing on both sides. The Grand Navy has also issued a warning for all sailors near the region where the battle happened.

The Grand Navy has insisted that they must work on new ships to also replace the fallen Seawise Judgment, being the strongest ship in the fleet that was destroyed almost effectively, apparently as one sailor put it, “It was filled with so much cannon fire that the darn thing wasn’t even visible, the ship was jus’ replaced by some wood!”

The battle was given the name Battle of the Seawise, due to the fact the ship did most of the work and was the main ship that was targeted by the pirates, however the Vanaham have called it the Ambush at Edgar’s Hope, reason being that the location was a vast expanse of sea named the Edgar’s hope given by sailor’s due to the incredible amount of sea incidents relating to monsters in the deep. Some even say that the area use to be a part of the Dark Sea, but who knows*…
