11/4/26 I was doing abysses trying to make a maximum resistance set, until I reached a straight line of 3 abysses. After doing all 3, I reasoned and thought, “Hmm, chests respawn, let me see if the ones in the abyss do too,” and I discovered that they did. Obviously. The worst part is, after doing more than 22 abysses, I ended up with literally 300+ charts in my inventory.
12/4/26 Around 7 am, I got together with two friends and thought, well, let’s all three farm charts to get lost books or gilded evony. At first, it seemed like a great idea, after all, it was 3 people farming abysses with luck 5, what could go wrong? It turns out that after farming 16 abysses, this fool decided to play with the sharks. Even with shark repellent, they came after me and DEVOURED me, feasting on me. I apologized to my friends and went back to farming. (In the end, my death might have been a good thing, but that’s what I’ll discuss later.)
After farming a few times, everyone decided to start collecting charts, and of course, every inch you walk there’s a chart below you, literally. There came a point where, AFTER SEVERAL charts completed, I only got one lost chart, while a friend of mine already got two. So I went to do it, and OF COURSE the first chart was Pefkos or Nimbus Will. You already know where it was. Then, further ahead, I had to go to Ice Mines or Drakoarch, then Makrinaos and Rosehenge.
You might say, “Oh, but okay, it’s a lost chart, it’s a distance, but it’s all the same, right?”
Cough, cough (coughing blood nonstop)
The problem, my friend, is that to get the Lost spot, I first needed to do 100 other charts, so maybe then I’d know if the location was correct or not. Especially since islands like Claw Island, Vents Aelos, and Mono Island are “small,” and the few places that have them will have MANY chart spots. I progressively did them. Note: from the moment I got the chart around 10 PM, I only finished at midnight, and guess what? My friend? I don’t know how, but she finished 2 Lost spots while I barely finished 1! So I did a little mysticism and guess what, SHE GOT ANOTHER 3 Lost chart notes!!! I opened a quadrillion chests and got nothing but a Lost and a Mythical, and my other friend already has 4 Lost ones he doesn’t want to do. I got Dragon Slaying, but I suffered so much to get it (my first one, by the way) that I’ll never use it. This book is worth more than a Headless for the effort I put into it, my god! What am I doing with my life? Vetex, give me an update already! Look what you’re doing to your fans! I’m so tired that I started saying that Empress Nilah has the coolest design in the game.
Btw, now it’s almost 1 am and my friend finished another Lost Note.
What I mean is… I’m not angry that it took so long, I’M TRAUMATED BY THE DIFFICULTY. To give you an idea, we still have over 300 charts in the inventory. I’ve literally opened over a thousand chests so far, and if I sold every sealed chest I’ve seen, I would have already sold a thousand of them, and there are still more charts! If I go to an island now and try to open it, there will be even MORE CHARTS!!!
In fact, my friend, you will win countless Lost and Mythical items, but by the time you manage to get one of them, you will have already made another 300 charts. Coincidentally, the time it takes is excruciatingly longer and agonizing, and even more so the fear of dying and losing everything again.
In this abyss game, I won some sunkens. I’m currently stuck in Forest of Mats typing this, super hunched over and dying of sleepiness for 30 minutes because I gave up on making charts again. I’ll farm drachma with Fleet and buy a Dragon Slaying Book, but I’m not doing all this again!
Some cool things are the ghost army—no joke, it literally spawns 50 ghosts next to the player, and they all go everywhere, making it super disoriented. In the end, anywhere you dig will have treasure.
It’s ultra inconvenient when a 1 cm spot has 50 sealed chets, and in Vents Aelos everything is so close together that in a single spot I could get around 80 darksealed chets and 300 chests.
For those who want to suffer and want more details. Use luck level 5, try to find 4 to 3 abysses (more than 120 meters deep) close to each other and do them in order a-b-c-d and repeat starting from the first one, do at least 16 abysses and you’ll have enough to cry about, call your friends to do this and you’ll have enough to shout about in a forum.
