Interesting, but makes sense considering from a quick google search brigs are smaller than frigates

Hear me out, vetex might go crazy, and add 2 new ships into the game 
it has the same description as the frigate so i doubt it, especially since ships are linear adding 2 in one update where most people already have thousands of galleons means that theyd just skip over the ship
Current ships are linear*
In the future ships will diverge and not just be direct upgrades of each other(technically they already aren’t but nobody cares about steering speed)
Stuff like the ship of the line presumably will be slower than current ships and such
people do care about rams yknow
Referring to raw stats, no mention at all about equips
This implies that the frigate will be even bigger than before, probably a direct upgrade alongside all the divergent ships at that tier.

Kinda hope that eventually when Frigate is added it’s the last linear ship before they diverge a bit.

- Slightly faster than caravel
yall wanna ram into people so bad 
Literally can’t fight pirates without a ram unless I build crazy turning speed and get decently low ping
