Figured I should introduce my main goober

I turn the corner, there was my house. I sprint even faster before I enter my home and close the door shut.
huff…
I was just trying to mug this guy… I didn’t know he was an actual skilled fighter!?
I look outside the window, checking if that man managed to find me. No one was there, I am safe.
I check the window again. An emerald crystal figurine stood by the windowsill, glistening under the moonlight. I try to recall if I have ever bought one, but I have no recollection at all.
Did I… steal it?
I approach the figurine, mesmerized by its glow. As I approached it, it seemed like it was glowing even brighter than before. It was only once I got close to it I would realise the room I was in had a magic circle right beneath my feet.
Before I was blown to oblivion, the door to my house was kicked open. The knight that I stole from walked in, his left hand casting the spell while his left was holding an emerald trident.
“This is what happens if you don’t give me back my pouch of galleons, you petty little thief!”
“Crystal Magic: Ruby.”

Appearance:
The first thing one would see is the giant sphere on Grey’s head, an ice arcsphere, whitish green in colour with a crystal shard glowing inside, acting like the pupil of an eye. He wears rather expensive looking robes worn by sorcerers, with a large black sun in the middle. He also wears a pair of glistening silver pauldrons with a dazzling white cape attached with a unique onyx gem. He sticks out like a sore thumb since he is wearing an arcsphere, an accessory usually worn by the rich. He can’t take off his arcsphere because he had worn it when he was too weak.

Personality:
Events from before Grey became a captain had scar him for life, changing his personality very differently. He is a rather chill mage captain who tolerates the problems his crew throws at him. He does not hesitate to give his crew a challenge as he sits back and drink a cup of orange juice (as an act of revenge for bothering him). He does have a limit to this tolerance however, and it will take his entire crew to stop him from committing any crimes beyond human comprehension. He’d rather collaborate with someone who knows how to use magic or spirit weapons, since he believes he will need to babysit the weaker bunch.
Combat:
An extremely good defender with pretty high endurance. Attacking Grey means attacking a solid wall that will strike back once you’ve let your guard down. He has perfected the art of defending to the most smallest details. The curse he wields makes up for the attacking part of his impenetrable defense. A mix of spells never seen by mankind and his style of defending himself makes a deadly combo that will wear the opponent of their stamina.

“It’s been fun hasn’t it, Velez Ivanov? All those times you’ve tried to ambush me, always being captured by the grand navy only for you to break out of the navy’s grasp just to repeat this cycle. This shall be our last confrontation, I shall guarantee you that.”
Fun fact:
- Grey eats and drinks by slapping food or pouring water on his arcsphere (It just goes into the arcsphere and starts swirling around)
- Grey always tries to avoid getting his clothes dirty because their white coloured.
- Grey faced against The Lion Of Old Ravenna before obtaining the super curse in a tournament held in Munera Garden
- Spoilers: Grey got clapped
- I did not base Grey on any popular media at the time of making his looks (uncanny resemblence to Mysterio)
- I gave him emerald magic as a joke (A jojo reference cuz yk, emeralds. Laughs please I’m begging you-)
- Grey is the first ever oc that I have ever created
