Well TBOI is much more skill based than the other three, but i put in there considering that bad item RNG, Room comboes, or the wrong boss can completely fuck over your run

A feature like multiplayer and PvP isn’t going to change a games genre bro . Even if you are referring to “true” roguelikes i never considered deepwoken one (i don’t think anyone considers it one) so idk what you mean there
Deepwoken definitely has pretty bad game design and i did make the argument that Deepwoken is heavily reliant on RNG but the whole point of RNG in roguelikes is that you overcome them with skill take TBOI for example, i made the argument that bad items can kill a run but that isn’t the case. You can easily overcome it by just, well, being good at the game . A bullshit game throws a bullshit with no rhyme or rhythm at you with the intention to piss you off, roguelikes throw something at you with the intention for you to learn whatever it threw and you and get better
While that isn’t every roguelike, yes that is the point of MANY roguelikes out there will throw a hard challenge at you, and yes it will throw bullshit at you but NOT intentionally, most of that will all come down to luck, not “bad game design”. Also what do you even consider a “Rage” game, there are many sources that just call games a “rage” game because they are high in difficult, not because they are actual bullshit take fore example cuphead
