The desert island game question

Let’s say your stranded on a deserted island for god knows how long and you could only bring 5 video games with you to keep you from getting bored what would those games be?
Now let’s go over some ground rules first.

1.We are assuming that there’s no wifi on this desert island…even if they have the games you picked, the controllers required to play the games and the console…ok look there’s just still no wifi tho.So no online games or if games require online for something then the online functionality of that game can’t be used.

2.No game collections because it just takes a lot of the fun out of picking just 5 games to bring on the island.

And with the rules out of the way let’s finally begin! Also I was inspired to make this topic from Scott the wozs desert island gaming video.

So mainly we should be looking at super long games with tons of content in them to keep you occupied that you could replay over and over again without getting bored. So for my first pick I decided to pick Persona 5 Royal which is my favourite game of all time so it makes it even better.
Not only do I love persona 5 but even if it wasn’t my favourite game it has so many hours of content and the thieves den in the game allows you to watch the cutscenes, listen to the soundtrack, play a card game and even look at concept art and more.I could easily play this game over and over again without getting bored.

Next game I picked I decided to go with a life sim game something that I can log into everyday and check on my virtual town and friends.
My second game I picked is Animal crossing new leaf a very cozy and fun life sim game that I could get a lot of hours out of.

My third game I decided to pick a sandbox that everyone knows about Minecraft. This game is perfect for a desert island game as it’s so easy to sink so many hours into both creative and survival mode.Sadly I won’t be able to play multiplayer but the singleplayer content alone could last a year or so on a desert island.

My fourth game I decided to pick a straight up fun shooter game that can make me have loads of fun if I’m bored from the sandbox games and that game is Far cry 4.Far cry 4 is just straight up fun to play taking down outposts, battling army’s of soldiers and flying around with a wing suit.If I just want to shut off my brain and have some dumb fun then far cry 4 will definitely help me with doing that. And I could also use the level editor to make my own levels too!

My final game I decided to pick was a Mario game that’s packed with charm and good fun and that game is Super Mario odyssey. With over 999 moons to collect this game will definitely keep me busy and I could also try my hand at speed running the game or some of the mini games too.

And there we have it my 5 desert island games! Persona 5 royal,Animal crossing new leaf,Minecraft,Far cry 4 and Mario odyssey! I hope that some of you will try and come up with some of your own desert island games I’m curious to see what they will be! Remember you can’t use any online in any games and no game collections!

Minecraft has near endless gameplay IF you’re extremely bored, and you can always just do creative if you want, plus make your own minigames via command blocks

Unturned, to most people, is probably worthless in terms of singleplayer content. But i love the idea of transforming a whole unturned map by colonizing every area and creating massive structures and bridges between every location.

I haven’t played LSW the skywalker saga but i really liked LSW the complete saga so i think i’d like it

hollow knight i’ve never played but it seems good

terraria i’ve also never played but it seems to yield a lot of playtime

Is there a point in bringing videogames if we’re going to die in a few days of hunger anyways

  1. Terraria
  2. BTD6 (rip no boss events)
  3. whatever remake of Devilheart off roblox may end up existing in the far future
  4. oneshot
  5. I wanna lockpick

if you guys are wondering what devilheart is, it’s an amazing roblox game that got cancelled because it was deemed unprofitable as it’s single player

I wanna lockpick is a puzzle game about opening doors that adds in mechanics that get worse and worse as time goes on (fucking imaginary numbers bruh)

1: Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 3. It’s probably one of the most influencial games I’ve ever played. I could definitely play it over and over again without getting bored, as well as upping the difficulty to give myself even more of a challenge each time.

2: Dragon Age: Inquisition. Another one of my favourites, this game is decision based and kind of “choose your own adventure” so it def has a lot of replay value since there are so many ways the game can branch out.

3: Call of Duty: Black Ops 2. My favourite cod game and a classic shooter for when I’m in the mood for one. I also find it really fun to replay because I can hone my skills with a bunch of different types of guns.

4: Maybe elden ring or sekiro, but maybe not since sometime’s i’d wanna look up where to go or how to get some obscure weapon and I wouldn’t be able to since no wifi. Idk, I don’t have a lot of games that I feel like I could play over and over for the rest of my life without wifi.

5: This one’s a bit of a strange one since I’ve never even played this, but probably The Sims 4. If I’m stranded and no longer have human interaction I might as well simulate a good life for myself in a game

my 5 options?

well I’d probably wanna have 2 roguelikes since those have loads of replayability, my choices would be, risk of rain 2 and the binding of isaac, both games are packed to the roof witn content, and it would be really hard to get bored of them.

my 3rd game will be minecraft, I mean, you can never go wrong with minecraft. This game has virtually infinite stuff you could do in it, so it’s a pretty easy pick.

my fourth game would also be animal crossing new horizons, since its basically a little world in itself.

as for my fifth game, I’ve thought for a while, and I have decided that the best choice would be probably terraria, I mean, come on, it’s another massive sandbox
