doesnt the epicenter spawn randomly though? why would going towards a specific direction do anything?

i’m guessing it indicates the spawn area of the epicenter. it might be server specific because of how the epicenter spawns in

Both the four corners have the same square on the map.
that corner has always been there and is just there because the map is weird
This is actually a false rumor- and its kinda the fault of me and a few others.
This badge was announced when me and a few others were heading to the epicenter, and we found it right around the time the badge got announced. We were so excited about the prospect of being the first to get the badge that we were sharing it with everyone. Soon we had people joining us in droves. The direction to get to Pelion was exactly this- Left of Pelion.
After this, Vet had to shut down the ‘send in footage’ part because so many people were just going to piggyback off the work of the actual explorers to get the badge.
Anyway- The other epicenter explorers alongside myself have confirmed the epicenter doesn’t always spawn there, we checked again on another server.
