THE EPICENTER IS REAL!
No it spawns as soon as the server is started, it does not spawn randomly in front of a player like an island. There is only one epicenter per server and it’s location is determined at the very beginning of server creation, it will not move
Sure if you stay in the server and can somehow remember exactly where it is
this just in in v1.14.5 vetex patched so now you will need theurgist gear to reach the epicenter (still wish vetex would give some sort of epicenter compas switch so we can go back, it would be a fun PvP area with added lore relevance)
Time to go on my fifth expedition to find it grah
