The forums have been different lately…
There is no more DeronChepem that spams reactions (Pity those who did not mute him).
There is no more SpicyTuna that shitposts and make generally weird things&comments.
There is no more skittlesnakes that trolls and floods posts with a Morock buffet.
There is currently no overly obnoxious rb1 alt.
There is no huge (exposed) weirdos that I shan’t name.
The forums have been disinfected of its neoteric noxious members, and within the confines of all threads, it shows.
There are far less derailments, far less troubles, far less troubling members, all for the better. But that isn’t all…
We are at a time of celebration. We are rejoicing that long demanded features are finally being added.
The ability to modify keybinds,
to search for items in your inventory (and shops too, hopefully),
to disable PvP…
All are great additions to Arcane Odyssey, and all will greatly enhance the quality of play. But there is more left…
Development is changing
Arcane Odyssey now has an entire team of specialised developers, allowing for far more quality content, mechanics, and expansions to be made at the same time (we can now toast to new additions almost daily).
Our beloved game’s creator and head developer, Vetex, is seemingly starting to see a few more steps ahead, increasing his game design sense and the quality of future decisions.
I am aware that this last one might seem like an insult, but I hope that it isn’t taken that way. We’re thankful for Arcane Odyssey, we are even more so now.
In conclusion…
It may be temporary, but this is the best period of time that the forums have had since I have joined them. It feels as though as it is returning to being a community after having been split apart by disruptive elements.
Fresh topics are being made, discussion is civilised, offense is rare to be found; The forums are fun to be around.
I hope that it lasts, even if it’s just for a little while.
Thanks for reading through this, let’s get to hope-posting (I am now living on HOPE Island).
