The funniest (joinable) faction

the forsaken as a faction is so funny to me. Like look at the choice of factions, you have:

  • The massive grand navy, dedicated to keeping the peace

  • The secretive assassin syndicate who spans the war seas and assassinates people

  • The proxy knights, insane justice fanatics who wish to behead anyone who so much as dares commit a single crime

  • The brotherhood of balance, a morally grey group who murder people both good and bad to make sure everything stays perfectly balanced

  • The oathkeepers, a secretive organisation who wish to end corruption and bring freedom to the people

  • The seekers of sight, actually insane cultists who literally perform human sacrifices in the pursuit of obtaining dark powers from chaos

  • The paramount bank, a group that everyone trusts with their money, and probably has quite a lot of influence

And then you have these random bums who just assassinate people exclusively in the nimbus lands. They do not operate ANYWHERE else, just the nimbus lands, theyre basically walmart assassin syndicate, they offer hardly any benefit to joining, joining them makes no sense because we as the player just go off and do our own things away from the nimbus lands, instead of staying and helping them kill people.

The forsaken are so funny like why can we join these actual randos who have ZERO relevance lmao i love it

there aren’t even any bounties in the nimbus lands, so do they even do anything?

So he repeated the same trope several times, “we kill high rankings for peace/order/money” like he couldnt think of anything unique? Oathkeepers, forsakens, and brotherhood all for some reason are the same thing but in different colors???

The oathkeepers usually deal with yknow, threats that aren’t politicians 90% of the questline is literally fighting things that are barely human anymore, the brotherhood is sure as hell not going after octavious leviathan or fucking ormolu. i will agree that the brotherhood and forsaken are literally the exact same thing one just operates in skyhall

Oathkeepers kinda feel like the SCP foundation when you think about it

As for these forsaken bums I genuinely didn’t realize they were a joinable faction until recently when I saw some dude on the leaderboard a part of it

Don’t you mean Assassin Syndicate and not Oathkeepers?

I mean I feel like a more fair comparison would be Assassin’s Syndacite vs. The Forsaken. The Brotherhood of Balance wants things to be balanced, and they’re morally grey. The syndicate isn’t really morally grey. Them killing a politician is like a byproduct of the fact that they assassinate people regardless of whether they’re corrupt or not. The forsaken would probably be the skyhall variant of this. Considering no one really has power up here except the order, it’d make sense why there’s no assassinations up here from the syndicate.

Only potential reason for joining faction tbh

nah cause like unless they suddenly branch out i dont see them having any relevance because theyre only in the sky islands of the nimbus sea and they dont seem to have any plans on moving lmaoo

Hear me out chat, what if they assassinate people by dropping things from the sky islands onto boats below

“That’s a mighty strange red bird-”
