Get ready man…
So, to not spoil too much jic you guys want to play the game for yourselves, I’ll start from the player’s PoV.
Chapter 1
Story opens up with you, the main character, awakening in a town called Newtonsville. You get woken up by the town’s blacksmith, and she gives you some items before you get to explore the world. You do not choose who you are, your character is a young content creator who got dared to play this game.
When you leave the house, you find a Minotaur harassing a girl in town, and the two of you team up to defeat it. The girl, Lia, asks you to help her become an official adventurer in a place called the Guild House. You enter and talk to a man who was going to kick you out, but when another man named Cayvin comes to ask you for help, Greyson, the other dude, tells you to help out Cayvin and he’d let you become adventurers. Cayvin and Lia join the party.
You heard to a place called Sliquid forest with Cayvin, and fight a few slimes to get to the end of the forest. Then, once you get to the final room, you fight against Cayvin, who controls the slimes in Sliquid forest and uses them to trap and kill people for money.
After beating the boss, you head back to the Guild House and talk to Greyson who takes you to the Guild leader of the town, Beowulf. Beowulf tells you to go to defeat the Megataur and save the elves from Oakenhold, in that order.
Before I continue this (because I’ll update this throughout today) just let me know if this is what you meant by lore or if you just want a slight summary of how everything works.
And once again, I could give the backstory but idk if any of y’all would want to play it/ get spoilers.
You should release a demo soon, seems fun
demo is and has been out if you wanna play it, unfortunately it is PS4 and PS5 only right now

IF YOU have a PS4 or a PS5 and would like to check out my game for yourself, you can! Here are the simple steps to do so.
- Download “RPG Maker MV Player.” This is the title of the platform my game was made on, similar to how Roblox is a platform to make games and play games on.
- Go to the second tab (I genuinely forgot the name, but it allows you to see what games other people have made.)
- Search input the game code “735” into the game code section, or just set the language to Japanese, and my game, The Game of Lost Souls, should appear. (Don’t question the Japanese thing, long story.)
- Once you’ve downloaded it, go back until you can click play games or whatever its called.
- Have fun! And please give me feedback and other stuff. The game is still very early in development and practically everything is subject to change. Thanks!
