The General, Argos (traditional to Digital WIP)

These are different than my normal post usually it’s digital but I decided instead of making people wait to see my final product I’ll
Show the traditional first. Usually I will draw it on paper and then using a picture I’ll redraw it digitally and color it and everything but I wanted to show this and get some opinions first. You might be asking “why’s there a lion head on his shoulder he doesn’t have that” well it’s because in Argos title he’s “general Argos the old lion of Ravenna” but he has no lion in his design so I added one and CAUSE ITS COOL! (And I know my lion isn’t the best I’ve never drawn animals before so i suck this was my first real attempt at doing a actual animal) Also no this isn’t the Argos drawing i mentioned in my previous posts I’m working on, these are the next too after that but I’m still close to done with that one trust it’s just something I’ve never done before and it’s taking me time to learn new techniques I’m testing anyway give opinions on these before I finalize them

This is so cool. Really reminds me of Godfrey/Hoarah Loux. Characters that have animalistic design choices are genuinely so awesome

Makes me really happy knowing that other people do the same thing, which is what also kept me from posting those drawings on the forums. I NEED to actually start locking in this way.
