Only guilds that I’ve had experience being in or playing with are Spellbreakers and Roselight guardians and I can say that I quite like both!

So far I haven’t had enough bad experiences with any one guild to say that I hate it, so rn my opinion on other guilds is still neutral.

Hm, yeah Spellbreakers and Roselight are pretty nice guilds. No often drama or anything and they kinda just chillin’.

Well, to be honest, I’m neutral to all guilds. (Ashes of Valcrest is a good guild, though I left since I figured being a solo player is what I like the most.)

The only guilds I dislike are those who treat people like shit.

Best Guild: Magic Council & Dark Arts Society
Worst Guild: Every other guild, since player-run guilds are already showing massive toxicity, and constant murder of randos

I’d suggest checking out some smaller player-made guilds though. Like mine, we’re a community focused guild, PVP is not exactly our thing. There’s also Roselight.

Yeah, no.
MC and DAS ftw, since we probably wont get ganked to hell, nor will other guilds flex on us.
Also, no chance for toxic leaders since NPCs.
Hell, MC people may even be able to summon MC Scouts or Soldiers at some point

Yeah I do get the solo perspective in some cases, but in this I really don’t.
You’re basically judging guilds on the tip of the surface (DoubleRun drama, noble vs suncry drama, doge king, etc)

but there’s many actually awesome guilds out there that just chill.

Trust me, you’ll see this shit fester when the next two updates drop. It’ll spread like wildfire, for sure. I just know it will.
Now, I won’t doubt that friends-only guilds will be nice and friendly, but we’re gonna see guilds like Suncry and Noble have toxic shitlords everywhere killing and gloating on everybody they see (even of the same rep), and we’ll never escape them.
Hell, I doubt Roselight’s gonna remain a-okay after the update.
Basically, what I’m getting at is:
With how guilds are built, resentment and toxicity will surely rise and dominate the game and its community. The only way to stand a chance against it is NPC guilds or friends-only guilds.

I do get your point there. The bigger guilds are going to go fucking insane.
But I’ve had really good experiences with guilds like Legacy or Roselight. They don’t focus heavily on PvP, neither do we. Vetex might add PvE features to increase guild points so we might not even see an entire massacre.

And then again WoM is going to be more popular in the future, so it’s not like you can encounter the same guild over and over on servers.
