The Harbinger of Calamity (Nico) & Hecate's Prophet (Raleigh Elysian) Introductions

Born into a family of high-ranking assassins, Nico was probably the worst at the one thing he was supposed to be a natural at, stealth. Often being nicknamed as the Clamorous Ninja, his “explosive” approach to combat sealed his name as the Storm before the Calm.
Despite his seemingly disadvantageous explosion magic, he was appointed Overseer and travelled the War Seas in search of combat, bounties, and the unknown.
On a particularly long expedition, he found a small scorching desert island with a hollow pyramid in the center. Upon entering, frost consumed his limbs and was only thawed by the heat of his magic. Here, he found a statue of the Greek God, Nemesis, locked away in a tomb of magic ice.
Hearing her voice for the first time, Nico was given a special evolving magic, Calamity. It fit him perfectly as it got stronger the more chaos there was to a situation. Tasked with helping her return to her godly form so she can put divine judgement on the unknown entity, Nico began searching for one of the greatest Prophets in the War Seas for assistance, Raleigh Elysian.

Raleigh Elysian was a poor peasant who spent all her money on a brig to take expeditions to the dark sea in hope of profit. As she became more talented, she began to exploit the rich, promising them a chance to gain magic from Hecate herself (or what’s left of her lol). This black market and exploit of her powers infuriated Hecate, who cursed Raleigh by having her magic chang and start from 0 at the most crucial moments. As well as this, people began to see Raleigh as Hecate herself because of the curse, chasing and harassing Raleigh, believing she could grant them magic.
Wishing to free herself from the curse, she meets Nico who …somehow isn’t affected by Hecate’s curse?

How will Nico help Nemesis with such a daunting task? How will Raleigh free herself of the curse? Find out in “Warding off Calamity”
