History of the Lotus
Long ago, before Kingdoms and Empires; there was only war. The cause of this war? An ancient ritualistic cult, worshipping none other than the Prophet of Lies. The people took to calling these strange cultists the “Lotus Order” on account of the strange thorned-flower they adorned their mystical cloaks with. After a period of time, the Magic Council was formed and forced them into hiding. Their last sighting was of a massive purple explosion in the mountains. Until now… The Lotus rises again, and many fear this is just the beginning.
The Lotus Order was founded to protect the sacred Lotus that is no more to be found, people believe the Order is cult-like, and have caused multiple massacres in Magius. They believe the if the Lotus is destroyed the universe that is known will collapse with the sacred Lotus flower. They are also known to do sacrifices to attempt to find the Lotus flower to once again protect it.
The current Prophet and leader is Gavin Salore not much is known about him other than the following he has.
