Chapter III - Crash
The next thing I remember was waking up on a beach, with Solomon some feet away still unconscious. I promptly woke him up. When I did, he seemed…confused. He didn’t know who I was. His overall tone of voice was also different. As it turns out, he had developed amnesia. That other experiment, Morden, explained a couple of things to him, but for some reason, not all. He also mentioned that the third escaped experiment, Tucker, had perished, and he had just buried him. This information didn’t surprise me. Someone was bound to die when trying to escape the Order.
Morden told Solomon he should head to some place called Redwake, and he asked for me to go with him. I, of course, obliged. From that point onward, I can recall very few times where I wasn’t with him. From how I see it, he was simply my new boss to take orders from. Although strangely enough, he didn’t really act like one. Ever.
It feels…strange. Strange not getting orders so often, strange not having a set schedule, strange not being punished for things I do wrong. I don’t understand. Solomon has seemed a lot happier ever since he escaped, but I’m…confused. I don’t get what this “freedom” he mentioned back before we crashed is supposed to mean. I wish I could just go back to the Order and continue my life as it’s always been.
[Hey there! I know it’s been a ridiculously long time since I wrote chapter two of Nova’s memories. I don’t really have a good excuse ngl. Anyway,I’d like to mention that the chapters after this one are gonna skip around a lot, focusing on important moments for Nova instead of me writing the entire story line from her point of view. That would take ages, and also would be pretty boring to the people who’ve already been through the whole story. That’s about it! Ciao!]
