So we have three animals, Armadillo, Crab, and Penguin.

Yeah. Like my wolf army can finally live, and if its enchantable I’m putting fire protection on all my pets.
Mojang once again taking a whole year to add another mediocre mob to the game!!!

i can see why people would like wolf armor but do people really use wolves in combat? if anything, the armor is just another cosmetic option
only voting the crab because i prefer the extended reach over armor (which also wouldve been nice)
as for the penguins, i dont really see a use for faster boats once you have an elytra
I voted based on personal preference but i can imagine wolf armor being more useful for most people than extra range
Quite the opposite imo, zoning a mob like a creeper is so much more useful than armor for a dog that alot of people just keep safe in their base.
But yeah Penguins are cute and Im biased to the ocean so that’s my vote
I haven’t played minecraft in ages but haven’t most mobs become obsolete after the shield was added?
not really. As soon as you get netherite armor it doesn’t really matter because very few things can injure you. A shield is just a benefit but it only works if you use it before being attacked, shot at, or blown up. Some mobs can disable the shield for a little bit after hitting it.
The only thing you should ever fear is the Warden.
I keep my dogs in my house and once you have a riptide trident or a elytra your barely every going to need boats so it’s crab for me, I think this has been the only mob vote in years though where more then 1 mob has had a use to it so that’s pretty cool

We got AN ENTIRE MOB, plus TWO ENTIRE WOOD RESKINS. That’s some crazy high effort from Mojang, they really went above and beyond this time
what got added in 1.20 again? giraffes and cherry wood right?

and it took a YEAR since the last update! Worth the wait, it was amazing!
Seriously. Mojang just aint cooking meals anymore, only appetizers. The last REAl cooking they did gave like 5k hunger. People haven’t finished eating it yet.
In alot of cases yeah, but it’s better to just not risk any damage by zoning from far away. Doesn’t this also extend mining range? That by itself is HUGE compared to wolf armor which will rarely be useful.
Anyways all three should be added for how long this update took and how small these additions are even combined
