it’s very difficult to ignore them, they’re everywhere and they take up the entire trending page. You’re going to have to acknowledge them one way or another. The smallest mistake is a permanent stain in their books tbh. It’s difficult to find a “chill” stan
i mean you can acknowledge them but just dont do anything to make them angry or anything if you dont like people swarming you
most of them are too stupid to even do anything dangerous anyways (the most they can do is ban some random account of yours, unless your enough of a dumbass to fall for an ip grabber lmao)
i guess you’re right, but it’s really hard for me to just sit back and watch them tear other people to shreds just to try and fit their “perfect” expectations. Like i want to tell them that what they’re trying to do with “educating” everyone just isn’t working at all, I don’t like being the passive bystander type

I played minecraft back when Skydoesminecraft was the biggest MC youtuber out there. Lemme tell ya, those were the fucken days. Then, through either COPPA or controversies, most of the classics died out.
Then we had Dream.
I’m not gonna lie, Dream’s content can be entertaining at times. His manhunt series is particularly fun to watch. However, his community is by far some of the worst I’ve ever seen. They simp, scream, threaten, and rant about a guy who plays the funny block game.
In the end, they make a content creator far worse than they would be otherwise. And that, ladies, gentlemen, and others, is the true downfall of stans. They destroy the very thing they try to protect, they stunt a channel’s growth with their constant raving. People won’t want to join a community like that. They’re like parasites.

I expected weebs and typical degenerates like them, but instead I found Twitter girls and guys, similar to what you described.
They are such fucking awful of people. I was in a Discord server, one I really enjoyed too, but I ended up leaving it since the admins and server owners SUDDENLY told everybody on the server to harass and probably send death threats to someone for being transphobic on Gacha Life. I get transphobia is terrible (I’m neutral on anything about transgenderism, never been able to form an opinion on it) but you don’t harass someone over it by sending your server of like 100+ people after them, especially if, considering they used Gacha Life, they’re likely A CHILD. I spoke with some of the server’s members about it afterwards (I sent friend requests to them after making a statement and leaving), and they agreed the server’s owner and admin team’s bs was bad.
The owner of the server also responded to my statement after I left, saying that the person they were harassing was told they’re doing wrong, but never stopped. I still think they’re being just as bad and only fueling the problem.
Either way, fuck Genshin’s fandom.

It sucks cause I’d love to meet people I can game with and have fun with, but most of them are HORRID. They think what they’re doing is helping when in reality it’s only making things worse. Like, if anything it’s just encouraging them to receive more harassment.
Recently in the Genshin fandom, a VA told everyone he was closing his dms because people were sending him sexually explicit messages. Ofc there was a decent amount of support, but people chose that time to bring up a joke that the VA made months ago about his haircut making him look like a lesbian. I understand being upset over it, and rightfully so. It was a little insensitive, but the VA apologized 3 times. Even after the 3rd time, they still harassed the VA.
They wanted him to grow past his mistake, but how is he supposed to grow past it if he’s not allowed any room to do so?? I hope the VA takes a break and distances himself from genshin’s fandom lmao
I don’t think they will, that’s what the effect of echo chambers are. Like it’s a circlejerk. If anything, they’ll just keep encouraging each other to do it.

the whole thing with loli’s isn’t as prevalent as people think it is. For the most part, genshin’s fandom is actually really good about like being not sexualizing the minors. I don’t know why it’s so widespread, considering there are only 3 babey characters lmao.
