Alright so here are the criminals in question:
Now these two mons are very unlikely partners, dusclops is a slow bulky trick room setter and regieleki is generally a fast sweeper mon, but that’s the beauty of the trick, because this synergy is so legitimately foul and hilariously good it has won me ridiculous amounts of games.
Here are the sets to run with explanations (EVs not included )
Dusclops w/ eviolite
Relaxed nature
Frisk ability
IVs: 0 speed.
-trick room
-imprison
-helping hand
-night shade
As for regieleki:
Regieleki w/ magnet
Timid/modest nature
Transistor ability
-thunderbolt
-volt switch
-protect
As for the last slot literally any move works.
THE STRATEGY:
dusclops runs imprison so other trick room setters such as porygon 2 or oranguru cannot, thus allowing regieleki to always be able to move first and attack, dusclops also runs helping hand, this move is great because it boosts the power of regieleki and this move also has priority, meaning despite dusclop’s abysmal speed, it still can move before regieleki to boost our yellow devil’s power even more.
Regieleki unless pitted against a bad matchup (volt switch comes in handy here) always should dynamax when sent out on turn one. This is to make maximum usage of electrical attacks and as well as summoning electric terrain for extra power, protect is there for utility and whatever last move you pick can help regieleki in may ways.
So far the only reliable counter i have seen to this nightmare of a synergy is probably ground types, however there are only a very small amount of legitimate good ground types, 2 of which are restricted legendaries. At least landorous is allowed, but with the meta learning how to counter landorous most people always have a kyogre or a strong water type under their belt as well.
