The most underrated and possibly game changing potions in the game

There are a Crazy amount of potions ingame right now, more than we were even promised in the patreon (which was already quite a lot). With all the crazy, and “meta” effects of potions like power, luck, energizing, healing, it makes sense why some potions are more overlooked than others.

Two (possibly more in the future) of the most batshit CRAZY potions i see almost nobody talking about, and they are:
Artic: A potion that inflicts snowy and creates piles of snow/ creates a pile of snow
Desert: A potion that inflicts sandy/ creates a pile of sand

Now you may be asking: “Crimson this sounds like shit it is literally sand/ snow magic, two already pretty mid magics with mid effects”. To that i say, You are right. Snowy and Sandy are both pretty bad. What I want to talk about is the potential that they have in their second effect, creating piles of snow/sand.

Now, think about this: You are engaging in naval combat with someone, then they suddenly throw a t5 Supernova Desert potion, and create an entire ISLAND. If these potions can interact with the ocean, it could be possibly that terraforming your own ISLANDS in ao could be entirely possible, or just imagine throwing artic potions, and turning a place like Sailors lodge, into basically frostmill. Of course, you won’t have NPCs, or fruits growing, or all that stuff but just the fact that you MAY be able to casually summon entire masses of land randomly is pretty crazy in my opinion. What do you think? Should potions like desert or artic be able to interact with the ocean? Reply below

Of course if vetex makes it so they don’t do anything when thrown into the ocean, you can just ignore this post and call me a schizo

someone should try and cover the entire sea

wont the sand just sink considering how deep the ocean is

Good point, but th en again the sea is magic, and presumably, the sand created is also magic(?) . I could see something happening that causes it to float. Also i find it intresting that they are called “desert” and “arctic” potions, instead of “sand” or “snow” potions, could it possibly be a setup for possibilities of the potion in the future  ?

Just smack down some freezing potion there and make an iceberg

could also be the case that desert potions and arctic potions sound better than sandy potions and snowy potions

Same probably goes with magma and ice

I’m sure I remember that some of the potions will interact with the ocean. It would be pretty fantastic if it’s possible to create islands (I imagine creating ice platforms will be possible regardless).

Sandfall expansion is possible… FINALLY

yeah but can we build sandcastles

Dark seas? :sleeping_bed:
Lost/Ancient Magics? :sleeping_bed:
Lost Fighting Styles? :sleeping_bed:
Sandcastles? :fire: REAL SHIT :fire:

The real sandfall island, coming soon

So basically we can use the arctic spell to create ice platforms or maybe even icebergs and begin a new naval combat era

I really can’t wait to see all the effects thrown potions have on the environment. I’m a few months when everyone’s stocked up on t5 potions it’s gonna be pretty funny

because sandy is a status effect, so it could be confusing to have a sand and sandy potion

I’d love to have a rock potion that just puts a big breakable wall wherever it lands.
the higher the tier, the harder it is to break and the bigger it is.

Why would anyone waste a t5 pot just to create 1 temporary island? Just throw it on the enemy ship and bury them.

You do not understand the lengths that AO players would go just to say “it’s funny”

Fax.

I’m pretty sure Vetex is leaving those effects to food.
