all i feel anything about is nothing but light bladed getting the throw move

if the skills are modular and well coded there shouldnt be much coding (which they should be because itd mean adding something like a new katana with no new skills would require 0 coding outside of changing the items info and stats)

all i could think of would be positioning for some things which would be easy to do modularly or as you said projectile models which might require each weapon that can use them having a rotation assigned to them because of different meshes having different rotations

man i hope vetex keeps developing it bc its so undercooked, im sure vetex said that it was very simply to add, so it feels so weird to be so limited

This is why I keep my expectations low

it seems like it is intentional as to what can use what skills, maybe out of fear of being unbalanced?

i dont see why a lot of the heavy weapon skills cant be used by lighter ones and vice versa, itd create a lot of versatility for weapon users if their stats are drastically different (heavy for bigger size, light for more speed) which is what vetex’s tweet about it implied was going to be the purpose of it

overall it seems like vetex being too scared of changing weapons too much or making them way more versatile than the other builds because every weapon that shares skills is a very similar weapon type

maybe its just to prevent meta becoming the weapons that give status effects if they can use all the skills others can? i understand that but i think having skills be more drastically effected by stats would help

i dont think its ass, is it not as cool as it could be? yeah, but my main concern is that its gonna be a huge headache actually setting up a build because of having to go through what weapons can use what skills and having to narrow it down so little

it would’ve been nice if each weapon had at least 6 skills it could use since it was recently changed to let you use 3 of the same weapon, i just want my triple shield conjurer

thunderspear: spear throw + piercing gale + knocking blitz + sparrow thrust once hybrids unlock it

This is at least a good start. If people are still complaining about the lack of customisation on some weapons after the update drops ill bring it up to vetex
