I can’t help but get an unshakeable feeling that the Omen set will include Armor Piercing for some reason.

it all depends on the balance team. usually item sets start op then get nerfed before release.

Cus like, who would ever actually go to the far reaches, fight the omen, win, and get multiple pieces of this set. Maybe not cus its 100% drop chance

I’m terrified of this thing already.
I don’t have thalassophobia but it sure immediately triggers that hidden part of me.

This thing is as big as the stepstones (approxiamtely). It’s tentacles reach from the sea floor (probably where it’s main body is) to the clouds and even above. This thing is beyond massive.

No clue :skull: but now I REALLY want to find out what vertenx has planned for apollyons

Makes you wonder what sort of requirements there are for a Sea Monster to be an Abyssal Class, especially since an ancient Alpha White Eyes can’t do it, and neither can a Kraken that’s probably big enough to be able to endanger sky islanders if it could hypothetically make its way to a sea cluster.

If your talking about Kahunawa, it is considered an abyssal class monster

I would imagine that apollyon class monsters are probably more intelligent, making them more powerful. Like an ancient dragon, or the siren queen could fit as apollyon class monsters.

Or they are even bigger, since far reaches sea floors are meant to be much deeper.

But like, doesn’t a sea monster have to be… sea-based ? I’m genuinely asking.
Also, I really hope Vet doesn’t go with the mainstram kind of dragon when adding these, It’d be so cool to have some dragon / sea monster hybrid

i know the game is based in greek mythology but i want jormungandr the world serpent as an apollyon-tier sea monster itd be cool i think

This is a good one, we basically already have norse people in the vimir sea, makes sense that some mythology from each culture would be true.
