Anyway do you have any screenshots of it, so I can show my friends? They haven’t seen it yet and I wanna scare them 
How did u find it, we went insanity 3, 4, and 5 and got no luck
I have, but not from this run, unfortunately. We tried defeating it yesterday, but failed to do so and were left stranded on Siren’s rock.
As you can see each tentacle is about the size of a tornado. They are also very far from eachother, so you won’t be able to cheese it from an island unless you are really lucky and have a max range build.
We had 2 ships loaded with 11 people. Whenever someone died, they would go repeat all the route back to us into i3 range with their own ship because we did straight route (like an Epicenter run).
Tentacles themselves weren’t that much of a threat. They are client sided and kinda broken rn, usually missing even when going through you (if I recall correctly only 1 of us got one shotted by it).
The real danger comes from your surroundings. The Omen’s size is enormously huge and so is the black damaging area in the sea. See, if you fall off your ship then you are most likely dead, cuz your health will rapidly go down. So while you are trying to do maximum dps to the tentacles, you also have to be cautious of incoming waves. Most people died exactly due to waves dragging us into the damaging sea. And if you stay holding a cannon or ship attachment for too long, then you do no damage, which leads to either death from tentacle or ship getting sunk.
Btw, I suspect that helmet piece of Omen’s set is bugged and cannot drop, since nobody of us got it and every set’s showcase I saw was done without it.
Both times we went after it, it would attack us multiple seconds or a minute after crossing i3 range border, so we couldn’t prepare or repair our ship.
