That’s what i’m thinking, but vetex said it will be different from drawback so i dont think it will be percent based
Vetex is going to have to make it so Vitality actually gives max energy, then.
Otherwise we’ll only get to use 2 attacks before having to recharge.
(it doesn’t give max energy at the moment, i know because at 150 stats in anything other than vitality, you have 400 max energy, and my paladin has 400 max energy despite being max level.)
energy is used in percentages, the amount is just to make you think you are stronger than before
but anyway thatll probably happens if he thinks about it, if not this update then later
the only way for it to be percentage based is if the percentages change as you level up, otherwise we would not be able to use more attacks in a row at higher levels compared to level 1.
higher tier means lower energy consumption
that also means a mage blast consumes less than a conjurer blast
We’re all saying what we think it should be or how it shouldn’t work but is there really any way to tell until it actually comes out
I think so…
It’s better to voice opinions and concerns while it is still in the making then doing so after and having to way for a rework…
(Not that i think any major changes will be done from now till release)
“Nah, I’d regen.”
It’s a cool name I won’t deny it but oracle just makes more sense given the class’s inherent connection to the gods
the thing is, at that point your vitality is so high you instantly regen all the health back
its like fighting a person that pernamently has a regen coil
They’re turning regen into a flat buff for a reason (its one viability is being removed )
I think it would be the funniest thing ever if oracle is new and fresh because vetex neglected it on release day so after it comes out you scroll through the player list and every single one is a vitality build
FUCK NO
MY VITALITY INVESTMENT IS RUINED
yes its a complete sentence goddamnit
Damn it I can’t just regenerate 500 hp per second now, my life serves no purpose
But still, Warden sound much more cooler
that was changed, i thought
it was on the trello that the change for energy costs to be standardized went through
…well ok i dont really doubt the tier thing was changed, although that was kinda just to explain how energy is used in percentages
presumably you use less energy at high level cuz its directly based on level now instead of tiers?
if the balance document changes went through (i’d have to double check if it was 1:1) then the idea is that energy costs would never change regardless of how strong you get, regardless of level/tiers
i double checked, i’m not sure if this removed the level scaling
