The Ourskirts that he refers to is the land around the Great Craigs, the Northenmost point in the world. In the Craigs is untold iron, upon which the second piglin empire has been founded. Mountainking (I’ll decide his actual name later) here now travels the Outskirts, trying to journey to more temperate and tamer lands.
bro wrote a 24 page book in minecraft
It’d equal like one and a half pages on a word doc broski. It’s not that long.
So much hand effort to put into a minecraft book
…
This is literally nothing. I’ve written 35k words of fanfic before, and likely more than that in Worldanvil. This is, if anything, a distraction compared to that.
Could’ve been writing on Google documents (glazing Google docs)
Well, I do have some stuff to read in terms of docs, so if you’re interested in nearly a hundred pages of Zelda fanfiction, here’s the topic😊
Bet ya’ll didn’t think I’d continue this, huh?
… Wait, holy smokes, it’s been five days already? Shoot. Uhhh…
Anyways, updates.
(I mined half a stack of iron ore like this. Keep in mind: mining underwater more than halves your mining speed.)
Did manage to find a proper cave, though.
YOU HAVE GOT TO BE BLOODY KIDDING ME.
I died to a goat. A goat. I survive ambushes of creepers, get knocked to half a heart by pillagers, and take great care from then on, only to get rammed off a mountain at my home base by a fricking goat. And poof, I am no more. I guess this is what I get for de-equipping my shield and not carrying a water bucket, though I doubt I could’ve reacted in time to use either, anyways.
I intended this to be a deathless series—not in actual hardcore, because that’s overdone and frankly I’d rather be able to go back to the world—but I guess god (Notch? Jeb?) has decided otherwise.
Also, yes, I’m going to keep going and pretend like this didn’t happen. That’s just way too stupid of an end for me to accept. Also, I wanna play Minecraft more.
Was this irrational? Undoubtably. Did I risk dying again doing it? Yes.
Did I do it anyways? Also yes.
I always like to make something interesting and “magical” around my enchanting areas. A bunch of bookshelves and an unmatching table are rather pitiful in terms of aesthetics and creative display.
This is going on hiatus until college stops loading me like a freight train. Apologies to the two people that read this.
Your mental health matters more- Don’t apologize for needing to level and weigh out what you do. Take your time, you got this!
Unfortunately, this world doesn’t have a happy conclusion. I started playing it more today, with plans to make a greenhouse for farming carrots as a source of food for the final journey. I finished the greenhouse, placed a hearth inside as to maintain its temperature, and started farming.
Unfortunately, the world data corrupted. I tried loading the world back to no anvil. I had backups, but they set me too far back, and I decided it just wasn’t worth it.
Wish I could’ve done a more satisfying conclusion, but sadly that’s that. Remind me to make backups at the end of each and every session from now on.
