The PVP toggle will ruin the game. Here's my idea for an alternative that will 100% please everybody

btw the game being solely based around global pvp assumes that high risk blah blah blah should be forced on everyone even new players, but its flawed and ruins the fun for non pvp’ers. pvp toggle might has a higher chance to actually make the game last longer and let people grind for their stuff without worrying that some dickhead goes and hunt people just for their ego with this unbalanced game.
also the economy is all controlled by the galleon
and another thing everyone mentioned 300k+ players cant toggle pvp off people in clan cant toggle pvp off

Reasoning for a PvP Toggle Originally I wanted to replace the Agility stat on gear with something else since a lot of players only use it to run from fights, and after this plan leaked I saw a lot of negative feedback about how it basically would force players to fight even if they don’t want to, so I decided to go back on that plan and do this instead. I’ve also seen people complaining about PvP ever since the game released, some people even asking for it to be removed entirely, and I can definitely see why it can be annoying (I’ve been witchhunted by groups of max levels while progressing a new file) I know the Agility stat would still be a problem and it will definitely still need some adjusting, but the hope is that this change would mean people run less often using it, because if they have PvP ON it means they want to fight I was thinking of just adding harsher punishments for random killing or killing players with a high level difference, but these would not stop the core issue and players would still experience being random killed at any time regardless of the punishment for the killer.

I do understand that this removes a kind of ā€œimmersiveā€ aspect of the game where you can just attack any player you want even if they don’t want to fight, but you have to consider the victim as well. If a player is playing the game only for the story or progressing a new slot, being attacked by another player is just an annoyance and something they don’t want, and if it becomes too toxic they may even quit the game forever since they can’t play it the way they want. I’ve also seen the two sides of the community (PvEers/PvPers) arguing a lot since release, and I genuinely think there isn’t really a way to make the two types of players get along unless this change is done. This change would allow PvEers to play with other PvEers in peace, but also let PvPers play in servers full of other PvPers who are less likely to run or start an argument when they are random-killed

Agility is abused by pvp players the most. he’s out of touch with his community and the state of his game
