[Captain Wellfred] Well, let me spin ye a yarn. Sea Curses are powerful artifacts, magical cubes, if ye will. Once ye touch 'em, they merge with yer very essence, granting ye great power, but at a cost.

[Captain Wellfred] Immense power, lad. Control over elements like fire, water, and wind. The curse makes ye one with that element. But beware, it’s a double-edged sword. The more power ye gain, the more ye lose of yerself. Ye start to become like the element ye command.

[Captain Wellfred] Aye, it is. But for some, the lure of power is too strong to resist. Immortality, lad, it’s a tempting offer. But ye must weigh the price. Yer humanity for godlike power. It’s not a trade to be taken lightly.
[???] Have you ever seen one of these Sea Curses, Captain?
[Captain Wellfred] Seen one? No. But I’ve heard tales from sailors who claimed they did. Madmen, the lot of 'em. Driven to the brink by the power they wielded. And ye know, lad, the way ye survived and controlled that blood… It ain’t natural. It makes me wonder if ye might’ve absorbed one of those Sea Curses yerself, and that’s why ye can’t remember yer past.
