oh damn I thought this was made in roblox good job man
I find making diving spots/ these “nests” pretty fun, The only issue being that i don’t have access to roblox models that are commonly used (like the skeletons and seaweed and such), I made another one that is supposed to be a white eyes nest

Funnily enough i oringinallly was gonna make this a Roblox studio thread, since i thought it would be easier to learn but I quickly learned studio has WAY less tools, tutorials, and is also just straight up way more fustrating, So i decided to learn blender (it also has way more versatility)

Arent shark eggs deposited and incubated inside the mother, then they battle do DEATH untill only the strongest survive and THEN they are sent out?
They are magic so believe what you want + shark do lay eggs, but I don’t have NEARLY enough skill to model them yet

some sharks actually have the eggs hatch inside of themselves and the sharks swim out the mama

doesn’t really feel like a “white eyes” nest (also shark eggs don’t like that 
)
it would make more sense if they had white orb/(eyes look-like) around them
because if you told me to guess what nest it was I would have said: megalodon
(also the life cycle makes no sense I don’t think that is how eggs work and also how conservation of mass works…)
also what kind of fish lays that few eggs compared to its size?
both the total eggs and size of each one is kind of small
Fair enough, I kinda wanted to add some sunken pirate ships (since in AA lore White eyes LOVE sinking pirate ships) but i still need to learn how to make them

Shark eggs look like this (thanks google), The structure is a bit too complex for me to build now, maybe once i learn how to properly sculpt I’ll be able to do it, but for now all i can really is stuff that looks like roe
It’s magic, In my headcannon the eggs increase in volume at first, then the magic energy concentrated in it causes it to shark, then the egg exponentially grows larger than before
The harsher the environment, the more eggs an animal usually lays to try and get as many offspring as possible, the dark sea is batshit crazy, so I’d assume most of the sea creatures there would have to lay smaller eggs for a higher capacity, also it may not look like it but each of those eggs are around like 2 feet in width/ hieght/ length or whichever

yea i know i wasn’t a “real” criticism (reason for the nerf face)
on to the 2nd point, i think it may be better to have the nest other way around so the baby is “guarding” the so the “nesting” site (as they can/are born alive)
I think I would be neat if the “eyes”/orbs are the loot
headcanon
this is my headcanon
the reason for the name “white eyes” is from the fact they all carry the same trait of glowing white eyes but the reason there isn’t a drop for them (unlike the lurkers) and why they glow is that their eyes get destroyed as their way of laying eggs being out of their eyes. the eye they are born with is one of the weakest points of their body and unable to be healed
meaning more than likely when they get to adult stages they don’t have eyes this grew to be part of ALL white eye life cycle of losing their eyes and in its place, they use magic in place of their eyes (causing the glow and why there isn’t a drop for them)
