The science behind magic creation in Arcane? (And some holes in it)

from what my ( dumba** ) brain think
you use magic energy ( or absorb it from outside if ran out ) → messing around with it until it become your magic → shape, control, etc with it so that it become certain spell type like blast, explosion, etc ( what circle is use for, i think ) → release
but i mean it seem that it is possible to cast spell w/o circle so idk, maybe it just help it, making it easier or like less harmful ? ( primitive magic doesnt use circle they fck up their user pretty bad )

Yeah, calling it matters would make sense, but it’s really bugs me because calling smoke itself a specific matter or element is like saying a shelf is a big book

So, the process as we know is drawing magic energy from the air into one’s self and storing it as personal magic energy. Then, using a spell, we convert that magic energy into an construct so to say. The main thing I wonder about is minds. I know that each mind has a certain property to it that converts magic energy into energy of your magic type. Does the mind itself hold your energy, or do you have, for example, a central storage unit? So far, I think your mind converts it once you channel it through a certain magic, to explain people having multiple magics, before going to your spell.

Damn it’s almost like I never said that

Honestly just go get a therapist, you’re going schizo

iirc soul does exist in the Arcane Universe, maybe that where magic energy is stored, or our body itself stored it as Vetex said that "react with magic energy in our body
mind probably doesnt hold it, cause im pretty sure ( bad memory, may not be correct ) one’s ability to use magic and hold mana naturally increase as they age, to an extend, it probably, as Fang said in his theory, hold “something” that deceided what magic would we be able to use

Sure, let me rephrase, imagine INDICATING smoke is a collection is one thing

Yeah, that’s the whole idea, don’t go too deep into it though, we don’t know much about it yet

Nobody said that it was a “specific” matter even thought there’s no such thing that constitutes a “specific” matter other than state of matter

This is actually hilarious, are you seriously

  1. Ignoring what everyone is telling you
  2. Making up what people are saying inside your own head and convince yourself they’re saying it
  3. Being an edgelord
  4. Being an idiot
  5. Having long term obsessions with random stuff

ALL at the same time

Lol

Where have I indicated that, stop strawmanning

Okay, and?

It’s impressive is all I’m saying

I admit that I misunderstood you on the topic of smoke, but since when did I “ignore what people tell me” (except yours), “being an edgelord/idiot”? I just want to have a damn theory, is that so bad?

I dunno, but the ability to use magic is the gene and it lets the user hold more energy and manipulate magic energy. Non-magic users will still have magic energy seep into them slowly

The idiot part is just how you so confidently speak wrong information, the edgelord part is my prediction, ignoring what people tell you isn’t exactly true but you more of deflect the conversation

Also the wrong information in the quote is that a chemical change is a chemical reaction

huh, that’s new, i thought their would just stay the way they are, maybe slighty increase but not much

Well how would they get the energy in the first place otherwise

Because if they don’t have it, then Shadow and Water would be useless against bandits (Who presumably dont have magic)

Fair enough, anything else you’d like to point out?

Vetex actually confirmed non-magic user do have magic energy flowing through them

forgot about soul, might be the solution. The main thing through is what magic energy does it interact with? It cant be the one you use for spells as people can still receive damage when they run out of energy. Does one have passive magic energy? Maybe the soul itself plays a part? idk
