I think Red Soul implies lack of positive trait, since it applies to Frisk, a nobody, Chara, a morally unsound character, and Kris, an often dubious and reclusive person. The ball game represents this by showing that the red color implies nothing of note. And red is usually the default color of a hear shaped object.

red soul means non-binary, all humans with red souls are non binary that we know of, and we don’t know the genders of the other humans (statistically prolly not enby) I rest my case
