Little known fact, he isnt actually reviving from the lazarus curse, being a metal conjurer just lets you do that. This is why the other metal conjurer boss also has 2 full healthbars

If you look closely, you can see that after imbibing the potion, ivar begins to steam but NOT turn grey. This is actually because the potion was not illegal narcotics purchased from the poison conjurers, but in fact just regular poison, specifically the flower normally mixed with the vine for the aesirs signature poison that would also give you the buff. This shows that he was not in fact doping, but instead had to nerf himself to provide a fair fight after seeing the pitiful display put up by the non metal conjurers
