The species of this Hydra is very different from the Greek version of Hydra. From what i learn, Greek Hydra born with multiple head. While this one only born with one. And even the history of this Hydra is also different. Doesn’t born from serpent parents like Hydra from Greek mythology. But it still counts as Hydra because it can regenerate a brand-new head after it got cut.
This Hydra also has an exposed heart on its chest; a tough crystal that is not easy to break. And also, a weakness of the Hydra.
Many myths and theory also scattered around after the rise of this Hydra. Some said it’s a Poseidon creation that was abandoned or Zeus ‘work’… but none of that can be said true…
