Theoretical: Bounty Hunting is **single** player only

This is a theoretical where Vetex pushes in a new update to prevent multi-player hunting, by way of group and parties, when the target has no party or has no members in the same server in their clan or faction.

The update is pushed, and players groan. The clause is this:

  • Bounty hunters must fight in equal sized groups against their player target and their parties, otherwise the bounty is (either silently cancelled or an error pops up revoking the bounty due to “trivializing the hunt” and not being fair).
  • A lone bounty target with no party member being hunted by a group of 2 or more people, in the same faction/party, will cancel the bounty.
  • A bounty target who has a party of 2 or more players, or has multiple members of their faction around them, will prompt the bounty hunter to come with an equal sized party due to the “increased risk”.

There are NO gear changes. There are NO ability changes. The bounty system simply changes.

What happens?

People cry for about a week and then everyone forgets it :smiley:

BREAKING: GANK RATES DROP TO 0% probably appears on a meme somewhere, it gets shared around, then after that week people forget.

Would make fights more fair against bounty babies.
