Theory: Eagle Patrimony is an artifical Magic Circle

I’ll just copy paste my post from the AO wiki, sorry to anybody who looks at both.

The main idea here is the appearance. It has a decorated ring that channels the energy, and a fitting logo to go along with its byproduct.

Aside from visuals alone, much like magic casting, upon touching it you can fire off a (sort-of) lightning blast, with of course raw spirit energy.

I’m imagining it being created as a way for those without magic to use it, or alternatively, a way for people to throw around a different kind of magic than the one they have. Sort of a substitute to magic circles, and possibly an experiment by the Order of Aesir themselves, the player seems too attached to it for that to be the case though.

Do I believe this? Heck no, just putting it out there. Feel free to disprove.

since it’s from the gods of ao they could have just given magic so why would they need to make this

I don’t think they could just do that, I could be wrong. I mean, Prometheus did.

they can pretty sur

You know, that does add up. But who’s to say how it was created? Obviously you have for sure the implication that a god imbued it, but anything else could have really happened.

I don’t get what you are trying to say here other than what’s obvious

i think they mean it’s like a gun but for magic
do something, fire attack
hence artificial magic circle

i see the points and think they’re good, but
thats jus not how spirit weps work

that’s 100% confirmed

Why, yes, it is.

its imbued with spirit energy your theory is wrong

Does that even make it wrong? It seems like you’re just stating the obvious.

I don’t believe this either but it sure is a fun theory, thanks man.
