Well… Currently it was attracted by Durza kamikazeing themselves and is off going around messing up that part of the Seven Seas.
If memory serves right, idr, I have my own stuff that i have to keep track of in a world building sense.
Well… Currently it was attracted by Durza kamikazeing themselves and is off going around messing up that part of the Seven Seas.
If memory serves right, idr, I have my own stuff that i have to keep track of in a world building sense.
to add onto this, chaos probably wasnt studied before the whole theos vs durza thing
so through ravenna destroying whiteveil, the order of aesir had the absolute opportunity to study chaos, maybe thats why soldiers were basically shipped there regardless of status reports (i dont actually remember if they were shipped there without a chice or not i gotta check journal)
I get what youre saying, but it’s prescense absolutely exists in the war seas too, because of the winterveil incident
that and it “destroys entire galaxies”, i’d say its pretty near omnipresent atleast at the earth of the arcane universe
god saying planet now makes me think there mightve been other planets with magic wielders lmao
where did gods come from anyway?
what if theyre bi-products of chaos aligning in a very specific way?
man i love pondering on these
but main point is the first few sentence
Yea, im not saying otherwise, just that contextually we know why Chaos was mentioned is all.
I mean it’s essentially a “Force of Nature” that exists outside the universe if memory serves right given what we knew of it when it was classified as the 2nd Unkown. Before Uknowns as a concept was dropped but the ppl - aside from Torren i think there was some discussion surrounding his existence - still remains.
We can kind of answer it given that the AU lines up with Greek Mythology up until Prometheus’ gift of magic instead of fire. But it might have some details that are or aren’t present within the Mythology in the AU prior to the event.
If anything they’d at the most be related to the “First Unkown” whom of which created the AU if memory serves right. (This was almost a year and half ago in terms of discussion on the forums.)
Some Mystery surrounding them and the like, that im not sure if we still consider them at all.
Pondering and theorizing about stories and worlds indeed does feed the brain.
ok this has nothing to do with the good replies you gave me i just like the image you sent at the bottom
its adorable
celeste is an amazing game that i should definetley play one day
Madeline is indeed adorable and i a lot of the things can hit a bit too close to home sometimes. lol
Celeste is indeed nice, Im currently slowly tugging along the last chapter rn.
is it criminal that i have the game in my library but have never launched it?
Also, is it fun? I hear its really frustrating at times but im still intrigued
Not really.
From my experience its fun and rewarding to progress. While yea it can get a tad frustrating on sections ur stuck on, it’s nothing that sticks and goes away once u get past the section that frustrates u a bit. And if it’s a bit much that ur not having fun on endlessly tackling the section, take a quick break and move around. Go look up walkthroughs on it on how ppl managed to get past it if need be.
There’s videos that show ppl doing sections of chapters but i only really go to them if i’m stuck or lost on where to go. to avoid spoiling myself on what happens during the chapter.
Anyways last reply on Celeste to not stray too much from the topic.
op bosses
I ain’t readin all that
goes really hard
zawg we both know u cant read
Introduction
The Eleven Unknowns are a group of the most powerful individuals, with the weakest being miles stronger than Arthur the Cursebeard. They tend to stay away from each other as if they were to fight, the entire world and parts of the solar system could be damaged. The Unknowns are ranked rather arbitrarily, but generally higher ranks have higher power. This is not always the case though, Torren is far stronger than Morock yet possesses a lower rank. My own theory for the strange rankings is that the rankings are merely guesswork. It’s not as if the unknowns had some yearly tournament in which they decided rankings, instead they simply guessed who was stronger, sometimes they would be correct, and other times they would be incorrect. For the sake of simplicity, I have separated the unknowns into 2 categories. Lesser and Greater Unknowns. These categories are not in fact canon, but are something I have created for ease of understanding. The lesser unknowns are on a level similar to or below Cursebeard. The greater unknowns are miles stronger than Cursebeard. Information on the unknowns is very sparse and some of it is contradictory so take this article with a grain of salt.
Lesser Unknowns
Poseidon, The Earthshaker, The Betrayer, Ruler of the Seas, 9th Unknown
Poseidon was one of the three Major Gods alongside Zeus and Hades. He is presumably the creator of the beings that lived in the Sunken Ruins. Poseidon created Poseidon magic, a movement based magic and is a commander of the One Shot Pirates. Poseidon gains the status of 9th unknown presumably after both Zeus and Prometheus died. Poseidon dies in battle in the Seventh Sea against Durza’s army during the Cursebeard War. But during the same war, he is revived and defeated once more by Cursebeard himself. Poseidon is known as ‘The Betrayer’ due to the fact that he betrayed his fellow gods as well as Prometheus to join Cursebeard. The most likely reason this happened is due to Prometheus defeating and killing his brother, Zeus as well as defeating Poseidon himself, forcefully subjugating him. Before Cursebeard raided Olympus alongside his allies, Poseidon swore loyalty to Cursebeard as well as granting Cursebeard a part of his power as a show of loyalty. This may be the reason that he is underwhelmingly powerful compared to other unknowns, Poseidon was the 2nd division commander of the One Shot Pirates, he was also theorized to wield the stormcloud curse by Randal. This was untrue and his power over the Seas was simply due to his nature as God of the Seas. As the God of the Seas, Poseidon possesses an extremely powerful water supermagic, yet he sacrificed much of his power to Cursebeard. If Poseidon were to have never granted Cursebeard his power, he may have had the potential to become a Greater Unknown. The canonicity of this next part is debatable, as it comes from Zarroth instead of Tech. Currently, Poseidon is beaten and bullied by Apollo (One Shot Pirates 1st Division Commander) constantly as he has a hatred towards any Gods, and he longs for an escape from his crew. THIS INFORMATION IS INVALID AS OF AO HERE IS THE CORRECTED VERSION
Even long after his death, at which point Poseidon only lived on as a spirit, he still thought of Arthur, The Cursebeard as well as the strongest human to have ever lived to have been his greatest friend and ally. Currently, Poseidon is the only god we have interacted with within the story, he may be the last surviving god for all we know, as it was said by an NPC in Cirrus that it was proved that the old gods (Zeus, Prometheus, Hades) were dead.
Prometheus, The Gift Giver, 9th Unknown
Prometheus is the god that gave humanity the gift of magic. He appeared as an ‘old monk’ that gave humans the power of magic. His teachings spread throughout the world like wildfire. Prometheus had humanity burn Aurem, a valuable gem found within the earth, in exchange for magical power. Prometheus gained huge amounts of power from humanity burning Aurem. He used this power to usurp Zeus, the 9th unknown, with the help of Hades and kill him. Due to this, he gains the status of 9th unknown. He became the King of Olympus and took the Crown of Kings from the now dead Zeus. Eventually, an extremely power hungry human named Arthur raids hundreds of towns and cities to burn their aurem. This gives him colossal amounts of power, which was an oversight of Prometheus. This power eventually surpassed Prometheus himself. After attaining so much power he learnt of an even greater form of magical power, curses. He learnt of this information from a younger Freedrock, the first curse user. Freedrock held great hatred for the Gods, specifically Hades. After learning of curses from Freedrock, he and his crew (Poseidon, Freedrock, Apollo, etc) raided Olympus, many gods were presumed to be killed during this event. Some survivors include Hades, Poseidon and Apollo. Some say that the Apollo who leads the first division of the One Shot Pirates is not in fact the god of the sun, Apollo, this idea is heavily debated. Arthur threatened to kill Prometheus as he knew Prometheus was holding back the true power of magic from humanity. He forced Prometheus to create the Sea Curses, five of which are saved for him. Unfortunately for Arthur, the Magma curse was stolen by a crewmate of his, Trigno. It was believed at the time that he failed to absorb the curse, so he was left abandoned on a wilderness isle. Arthur then absorbs the Blaze, Ice, Tide and Energy Curses, making him the second Curse user and the first Supercurse user. After this, he promptly kills Prometheus. Prometheus knew that he would be killed, and created 5 Grand Fire Curses (Darkflame, Promethean, Aether, Inferno and Scorch), in hopes that they would one day be used to destroy Arthur, now known as the Cursebeard. These Grand Fire Curses all had the will of Prometheus embedded inside of them. Users of these curses would gain unbelievable power, but would eventually be either taken over by Prometheus’s will, becoming machines hell bent on killing Cursebeard, or simply be driven insane due to resisting the influence of Prometheus. Prometheus lay dead for centuries, until he was revived by Durza in the third Sea. The player and Theos fight and defeat Prometheus with Theos dying during the battle. After this battle, Prometheus is gone for good.
Greater Unknowns
Chaos, Primal Force, The Almighty, 1st Unknown
Chaos (Also known as Destruction) is the oldest being in the entire Arcane universe. They are the first unknown and by far the strongest. Very few concrete facts are known about Chaos except for them being the origin of everything and the first primordial god. They are the strongest ‘thing’ in the Arcane universe. It has been stated that Chaos is not a being and instead more of a ‘force’. Despite being a force, it possesses an evil nature. It creates universes and galaxies just to eat them for fun. The only reason anything exists is because Chaos was bored, if Chaos were to become bored again, everything would cease to exist. It is so powerful it can destroy galaxies and universes in an instant and is completely unkillable, as if Chaos were destroyed, everything else would soon follow. It is said that after the Theos-Durza explosion, a crack in reality caused Chaos to flow through due to immense amounts of evil coming forth within the world. Due to the influence of Chaos, many more evil beings appeared, as well as the Dark Seas being formed. It was also rumored that Chaos was the perpetrator of a catastrophic event in the Old Sea which caused most of the population to be wiped out. This was in fact Torren and not Chaos. Chaos is a force that seemingly existed within a previous multiverse, but all the universes forming that multiverse withered away and died overtime. This made Chaos decide to create new universes to play with (torment). Chaos has also been described as an infinite source of energy, which also means that it has infinite power. There are some rumors that Chaos is a cause of the spread of the Dark Sea from the epicenter. The validity of this is unknown, but a thousand miles of obsidian deserts could not be caused by anything but Chaos.
Creator of the Universe, 2nd Unknown
The 2nd unknown was supposedly the one that created the entire arcane universe. It is said that they created the universe as an experiment. Their name has not been revealed and next to nothing is known about them. They are likely to be extremely powerful as they were able to form an entire universe single handedly. Some like to call this unknown Creation. This being most likely is a direct descendent of Chaos, this is the only way it could have so much power.
Morock Creed, the Hound of God, 5th Unknown
Morock, the Hound of God, wielder of the Promethean Fire Curse, one of the 5 Grand Fire Curses, was one of the 11 unknowns. Morock was an extremely powerful pirate with a bounty of 5,000,000,000 Lamina. He wielded Morock’s Sword, an extremely powerful exalted magic weapon. He is the father of Angel Creed, a character who plays a prominent role in the Third Sea’s storyline. It was said that he was chosen by Prometheus and fated to defeat Cursebeard and eventually Hades. In reality, it is more likely that his curse changed his fate towards destroying Cursebeard. It is unknown whether or not Morock knew of his premade fate. It is unknown why his fate was broken. Before creating his own crew, Morock served as one of the Divisional Commanders of the One Shot Pirates. But due to his curse, he began to despise Cursebeard which led to him leaving and forming his own crew, which was hell bent on ending Arthur. During a period after creating his crew, Morock had 2 children with an unnamed woman, all that is known about her is that she lived in Cerulea. The names of his children were Angel and Fulger. Fulger was born years before Angel and was a troubled individual from a young age, he was always considered a Pyromaniac and loved setting things on fire and electrocuting things with his magic. Fugler was separated and lost from Angel, being raised by his mother at Cumulus. He was considered a violent sociopath with immense magic power. He eventually went on to become one of the strongest men in the world, the 8th division commander of the One Shot Pirates. Fulger the Sky Spear, a master of storm magic. As for Angel, she is weak and was unable to attain much fame for herself. Morock was later defeated in battle by Valencia, Grand Admiral of the A.G, mother of Sage, and the user of the shockwave curse. His ship, the Bermuda Locket, was sunk and he died with it. During the fight between Morock and Valencia as well as the rest of the A.G, Morock decimated 80% of the Golden Armada, between 1-5k people. Some believe this is not actually the truth, as Morock would be far stronger than Valencia, and he would have been able to destroy her and the entire A.G Golden Armade in an instant. The Golden Armada was comprised of hundreds of ships, Morock soloed the world’s greatest and largest army (it is only second to Cursebeard’s fleet of 600 One Shot Pirate ships, the Golden Armada had 400 ships) and almost won. There were many ways he could’ve saved himself from dying to the Seawater, he could have used his Curse to transform into his elemental state and fly away, or he could have simply evaporated the entire 3rd sea with the heat of his flames. The most likely theory is that Morock simply wanted to die. He was already aware that the will of Prometheus was consuming him. He had to channel the Promethean flames into his sword so that those same flames would not consume him. He was beginning to become a danger to all those around him, having violent mood swings even towards those he considered his family (his crewmates) as well as his actual family, Angel. For this reason, he may have decided to allow himself to die, making his death a form of suicide. He may have simply wanted to go out being known as a warrior, and the man who ended the reign of the Golden Armada. Another reason he lost is that he may have not been able to use the full explosive might of the promethean flames due to Cerulea being located directly above his battlefield, meaning if he used his full power, his wife and Angel could have been harmed and possibly killed. For these reasons, it is unlikely Valencia truly managed to defeat him. Decades later, Angel tries to revive him in hopes that his curse would allow him to vanquish all evil in the world. The player manages to partially interrupt the spell which makes the resurrection only work partially. Morock’s soul is freed from the Bermuda Trench and he reveals that if his body were revived, he would destroy the World from rage. This is because he died in battle and his final moments were filled with anger, rage, hatred and despair. Morock manages to transfer pieces of the Promethean Fire Curse to Angel, thus granting her Promethean Fire Magic. The rest of the Curse was ejected into Orbit. Morock’s corpse also holds the item Morock’s Blessing. IRRELEVANT IN AO, there is a homage to him as the last name Creed can be chosen in character creation.
Torren Corvus Cross, The Kingslayer, The Mistwalker, The Last Cross, The Strongest Human, 7th Unknown
Torren is an unbelievably powerful human, the single strongest human in the entirety of the Arcane Universe. He is said to have the power to destroy multiple planets, most likely even the Solar System. Torren was the strongest person there was. He destroyed armies and kingdoms for the sake of his own king’s empire. He was a merciless killer, they say when he fought, it was like a dance of death. His kingdom’s name was the Roland kingdom, which sat upon the largest mountain side in recorded history. Before finding the darkflame curse, Torren was around Theos’s power level, but after finding it, he became a monster beyond compare. Torren was the first person to find a curse in hundreds of years. When he found it, Hades took notice of Torren. He eventually controlled Torren to destroy his hometown, Ian’s Cross and his entire kingdom; nobody was left alive. People believed that this event was caused by Chaos because no human could be so powerful and evil. Some say that the event that caused the destruction of the Old Sea was Torren fighting against Hades; he missed an attack which hit a nearby mountain, this mountain being the one that the Roland Kingdom was situated upon. This destroyed the entire kingdom. After this, Torren fell into a deep depression and became a wandering mercenary who would destroy kingdoms and islands. After some time, people began to think that Torren was killed by Hades, Ruler of the Underworld, near a supervolcano or that he drowned himself due to his depression. Torren is the current user of the Darkflame Curse, one of the 5 Grand Fire Curses made by Prometheus in hopes they would one day be used to destroy Cursebeard. Torren’s ability is to grow stronger through battle, this ability scales infinitely and the strength he gains from battle is permanent. After receiving the Darkflame Curse, Torren could not handle the power and went mad. His deep depression and sorrow from destroying his homeland made the curse inside him stronger, which ended up making Torren lose his mind, ability to speak and more. During his time as a mercenary, he became friends and comrades with Freedrock and they traveled as mercenaries together. But one day, Torren snapped and lost his mind. It is rumored that Torren killed Freedrock hundreds of times over and could kill him endlessly, despite Freedrock becoming twice as strong after every death. Due to him becoming a mindless rampaging monster who was a threat to the world, he was sealed away by 6 other members of the eleven unknowns. The group that trapped him included Freedrock. None of the members of this group were human. He is trapped somewhere under the sea unable to escape. It is believed Torren is trapped underwater somewhere in the Third Sea (Sea’s Torment). Legends say that if 4 people stand in specific places at the same time, Torren will be unleashed upon the world. Torren will likely be a postgame raid boss. The group that trapped Torren included Gods. These Gods were far above Zeus and were capable of creating planets. It is believed that 6 of the 11 unknowns are on this level. Despite Torren being far stronger than Morock, Morock had a significantly more powerful curse as well as more potential. The difference is that Torren trained tirelessly day and night whilst being further powered by his despair which caused his curse to become more powerful than all the other Grand Fire Curses combined. To this day, Torren is still trying to escape. He does this by releasing his aura of despair, negativity and chaos around his seal in Sea’s Torment. He does this so that ‘bad’ events occur near his seal, such as the Trigno and Rupin fight. Many battles have happened near or on top of Sea’s Torment, causing the seal to be slowly weakened overtime. Eventually, it will break and Torren will be freed from his torment. Appearance wise, Torren wore broken armour covered in red and purple flames. He had brown hair and crimson red eyes as well as a broken sword, Folly. If he is to ever become a boss, he would drop Torren’s Lament (an item similar to Morock’s Blessing) as well as his legendary sword, Folly.
This character is likely to be completely decanonized by this point, but if he is not, that would be interesting. We can only know for sure if we see in a future sea, the ruins of Ian’s cross and the Roland Kingdom that were destroyed when Torren clashed with Hades.
Hades, The Revolting, Ruler of the Underworld, 8th Unknown
Hades was the one pulling the strings throughout most of the Arcane story. Almost everything ‘bad’ that happens in the story is causes by Hades directly or indirectly. He is the strongest of the Gods, and can hold his own against the stronger unknowns. It is said that at his full power, he is only slightly weaker than Torren. Despite this, Hades has incredible dark magic abilities that allowed him to mentally dominate Torren despite being weaker than him. He controlled Durza to test the limits of dark magic as well as achieving his end goal; eternal war by granting him the experimental absorption curse. He also controlled Torren to destroy his own kingdom. He is one of the 3 major gods alongside Zeus and Poseidon and his domain is the Underworld. He caused the death of his brother Poseidon and also his brother Zeus. This is because he and Prometheus teamed up together to fight against Olympus and overthrow Zeus. During this battle, Hades stole the sword Durandal from Freedrock, another unknown. When the player finds out about Hades’s manipulation of Durza, they find and defeat him after learning a technique to destroy curses from him. Hades is presumably an extremely evil and malevolent entity that does not care about his family or others. This is very clear as Hades was the one who killed most of the Gods during he and Prometheus’s raid on Olympus. It is likely that Prometheus held resentment for Hades as he wanted Morock to defeat Hades. Hades granted experimental curses to Durza and Freedrock. The Absorption and Lazarus curses. Freedrock despises Hades due to him torturing and killing Freedrock dozens of times for experiments.
In AO, Hades is still alive, although he’ll die sooner or later, presumably by the Peacekeeper shortly after killing Durza. It is extremely likely that he had a part to play in the spread of the Dark Sea and the creation of the epicenter. It is unlikely, but he may have even created the Order of Aesir (extremely unlikely). We may be able to meet him in the story of AO.
The Peacekeeper (The Player), 8th Unknown
In the future, the Peacekeeper eventually manages to defeat Durza, and the one controlling Durza, Hades, ruler of the Underworld. After defeating Hades, the player takes the absorption curse and goes on a quest to absorb all curses. The player wants to do this so that they can destroy the curses by using a technique learnt from Hades. Throughout their journey, the player becomes incredibly powerful and replaces the dead 8th unknown, Hades. More info on the player’s adventure can be found in the Lore page. During this time, depending on the actions of the player in the main game, they either replace Hades’s position as the great evil of the world, or stay true to Theos’s path of light. If the player is evil, they recieve a legendary weapon in the form of Hades’s magic tome containing the world’s most powerful black magic. If they are good the magic dagger they are given at the beginning of the story from Theos transforms into a legendary sword. In AO, the peacekeeper has been deified and is now the center of a religion. Presumably, he is still out in the world destroying every last curse.
Zeus, Allfather of the Cosmos, Fallen King of Gods, Ruler of the Heavens, 9th Unknown
Zeus is the 9th unknown, the fallen king of gods. He was overthrown by Prometheus after absorbing huge amounts of Aurem. He is the original owner of the Crown of Kings. Despite absorbing huge amounts of Aurem, Prometheus still requires the help of Hades to defeat Zeus. This is because it was not a simple one versus one between Prometheus and Zeus and was instead Prometheus and Hades vs Olympus. Prometheus takes the throne of Olympus and the Crown of Kings after the war between himself and Olympus. It is assumed many Gods die during this event. Durza somehow manages to find Zeus’s body and uses a revived Zeus to kill Cursebeard. It is assumed that Zeus is an unbelievably powerful lightning supermagic wielder as he is able to fight against Cursebeard, although it should be taken into account that Cursebeard was traumatized and mentally exhausted after slaughtering his undead crew. Zeus is assumed to be the strongest god by the masses, although it is more likely that Hades was stronger.
Freedrock, Wise Warrior, 11th Unknown
Freedrock is the teacher of the Radius Fist fighting style and the wielder of the Lazarus Curse. The Lazarus Curse is the single most powerful curse simply due to its ridiculous nature. It is even more powerful than the 5 Grand Fire Curses, although Torren still managed to become stronger than Freedrock. Freedrock can be found on a wilderness frost isle in the 1st Sea and a wilderness island in the 3rd sea, where he teaches Radius Fist. The Lazarus Curse allows Freedrock to come back to life after death, after coming back to life, he also becomes twice as strong. Each time he dies, the chance of him being revived becomes slightly lower. Freedrock has died approximately 583 times and can revive infinitely with enough luck. These deaths have multiplied his power to ridiculous levels. It is believed that Torren, another unknown, has killed Freedrock hundreds of times. Hades has also killed Freedrock dozens of times with experiments. It is possible Prometheus has also experimented on Freedrock and killed him several times. Freedrock was also the wielder of the legendary cursed blade Durandel. Although at the time he wielded it, it was a holy sword. It is said that before becoming the Wise Warrior he is today, he was a powerhungry, suicidal and nihilistic man. This is due to all the abuse he suffered from Prometheus and Hades. In the past, Freedrock fought alongside Arthur in his raid on Olympus. It is believed that Freedrock may have originally been a test subject of Hades and Prometheus for the first curse. He is most likely the one who told Arthur of curses. There was no way for Arthur to know about curses other than Freedrock, the first curse user. Freedrock was an Olympian warrior who fought valiantly against Hades and Prometheus when they sought to take over Olympus. It was at this time Freedrock used the sword Durandal to fight against them. At the time he was using it, it was a pure and uncorrupted weapon. Freedrock lost the sword to Hades who corrupted the blade and made it what it is today. It is believed Hades ran several tests on Freedrock with the Lazarus Curse. It is likely this is the reason that Freedrock agreed to aid Cursebeard on his raid on Olympus, to get revenge on Hades and Prometheus. The tests ran on him by Hades may have also been the reason he became a suicidal, powerhungry and nihilistic man. Sometimes in the past, Freedrock became a comrade of Torren, presumably when Torren was a mercenary. After Torren went insane due to his curse, he killed Freedrock a huge amount of times until Freedrock managed to somehow escape. It is likely that Freedrock would have eventually died for good if he did not somehow manage to escape. After this event, Freedrock and 5 other unknowns sealed Torren away. It should also be noted that Freedrock was not the original owner of Durandal and that he only wielded it for a short period of time. Freedrock was one of Hades’s major test subjects on which he used experimental curses. Currently, there are 2 known experimental curses, the Lazarus and Absorption curses. There is also the decanonised curse of Sond, the Blood Flower, which is the time curse. Freedrock was originally a human (some say he was an olympian) but the Gods, not just Hades, ran huge amounts of experiments on him involving curses and blood which made him become something greater. Sometime in the past, Freedrock taught Nolos, a childhood friend of Arthur the Cursebeard and taught him how to use the radius fist style. Nolos eventually grew tired of living in Freedrock’s shadow and found a way to reverse the effects of the fighting style, using other people’s inner energy to draw out and hook out other people’s lifeforce, healing his wounds and draining them. As he learned how to refine and perfect his fighting style, he learned how to maintain his age with it, without curses or magic–He found the ultimate physical power. Freedrock has also most likely had several other students under him over the years, and we, the player, will also have Freedrock as our teacher from the 4th sea onwards.
Irrelevant in AO
Lord Averill, Pirate Captain
Averill is alive thousands of years later and is a silent ally of the Peacekeeper. In the fourth sea, the Peacekeeper helps Averill steal the Light Curse from an extremely well guarded fortress. This fortress is owned by the pirate crew that wiped out the Patch Pirates, Averill’s original pirate crew before leading the Shining Pirates. The Light Curse allows Averill to become even more powerful and also extend his lifespan. He is one of the few curse wielders left on the planet after the Peacekeeper’s Curse purge. Averill eventually goes on to sail across the world and eventually ends up where he first started. This leads to the realization that the world is round. In the game, Averill has a bounty of 50,000,000 Lamina.
Trigno, The Volcano
Trigno is alive thousands of years later and is a silent ally of the Peacekeeper. He extends his life through the Magma Curse and is one of the few curse users left after the Peacekeeper’s Curse purge. He is still presumably the captain of the Rumbling Caldera. Trigno was originally part of the One Shot Pirates, Cursebeard’s crew. He was part of the crew during its extremely early days. When Arthur was forming his Supercurse cube, Trigno stole the 5th curse Arthur wanted, the magma curse. This caused him to get kicked off the crew. It was believed he failed in absorbing the curse, but it turned out he did absorb it successfully. He was left stranded in the middle of the ocean but managed to use his curse to form a path of obsidian which allowed him to survive. Trigno is at least on the level of a One Shot Pirate divisional commander, as he was able to defeat the Acid Samurai, Ernest. Trigno is the sworn enemy of the One Shot Pirates as well as Ernest, as he killed his wife. Trigno is supposedly meant to defeat Rupin Lochester in the 4th or 6th Sea in a rematch after their fight near Sea’s Torment.
Ancient Deities, Creators of the Gods
It is said that several of the unnamed unknowns are ancient deities. These deities were said to have created the Gods. Not much else is known about them other than they are extremely powerful. These deities may have been spawned from Chaos or come outside of the universe entirely. These entities may have been primordials beings that were spawned from Chaos. This may include Creation, Destruction, Magic etc (These entities have all been theorized as unknowns, although their existence is unconfirmed). Many of them are likely still alive but dormant.
Completely irrelevant
Possible Unknowns
These Unknowns are not confirmed but several people believe them to have been Unknowns.
Kronos, King of the Titans, 9th Unknown
Kronos was the father of Zeus and leader of the Titans. It is unknown if he shared similarities to his Greek counterpart. It is likely Zeus overthrew him and took his title of 9th Unknown.
Now, this one actually has more relevancy in AO, but only through one line. This is the line within Tech’s famous riddles, that also appeared in the trailer. It speaks of a sword of time. Kroonos is the Titan of Space and Time.
Uranus, Sky Primordial, 9th Unknown
Uranus was the father of Kronos and primordial of the sky. It is unknown if he shared many similarities with his Greek counterpart. It is likely Kronos overthrew him and took his title of 9th unknown.
This is a very old post I made, the quality is bad but yeah maybe it can help. Had to cut some stuff out since 32,000 char is the limit
I know this sounds so stupid but aliens being in AO would be cool
Like they warn us about chaos or something idfk
correct, it is stupid. Aliens would take one look at earth and get out of there with the insane amount of magic radiation covering it and people who are basically walking atomic bombs with their destructive powers.
my alien friend just always in perpetual fear of me whenever we hang out (I have the sandal curse)
everyone is in constant fear of people with curses, when they hang out.
it’s okay I can just swap to my berserker file and then we can be buddies and not be so worried
or my (future) warden file because wardens are cool and everyone likes them
