TCG stands for trading card game, the cards are where the NFTs come in.
thats the simple of it.
I love this game, however. I should hate it. and I do hate that it is an NFT game, but FUUUUUUCK the gameplay. man.
its the first TCG game I’ve actually gotten in and loved. I loved playing the undead and feeling undying.
I’ve played other TCG games like pokemon, magic the gathering and more, but I felt a little more connected to skyweaver because I was there on floor 1, it went up and I was there.
its not like I’ve put money into it to buy the NFT cards + from what I’ve seen theres no actual gameplay change to buying or not buying the NFT cards, theres no real pay to win aspect to it !
I really want to love this game but its NFTs. I want to play this game but its crypto bro.
its a really great example of what a crypto game should be, however. unlike every other crypto game its actually gameplay first, make money later. its almost comparable to roblox’ marketplace and limiteds.
its the fact that it is crypto is why it feels so wrong, I love building decks with this game and playing with bots (almost no one plays it anymore)
its genuinely fun.
I would recommend it to my friends or anyone into TCG but its an NFT game… am I supposed to just go on and play, ignorant to what it is? it could be spyware or some kind of minor on my GPU ! but it really isn’t, it runs fine and doesn’t ask for any information.
whats tearing me is that it is an NFT game, fuck man, it can be just a game but theres still that side that I just cant ignore.
